Tonight was one of those simple but good experiences. I was out in the Sugar Land area after 9, most Caribbean spots were already closed, so I decided to try a Nigerian place. I’ll be honest, I was thrown off at first… the woman there was extremely pleasant. Like, genuinely kind and welcoming. If you know, you know—that’s not always the norm 😅 And funny enough, I had that thought in my head… sometimes the friendlier the place, the more “watered down” the food can be. But this time? Completely wrong. The food was actually really good. I’m no egusi expert, but I enjoyed it. Got it with fufu, and it was filling and satisfying. Only thing I’d say is the portion felt a bit small for $25… could’ve used a little more soup. But honestly, that seems to be happening everywhere these days. Overall, really solid experience. I sat down, got some work done on my laptop, and enjoyed a peaceful late dinner. They mentioned they’ve only been open about 5 months, so shoutout to them. Good food. Great attitude. New, they have a great selection of food. Portion sizes for takeout could be improved, but the taste was good. Overall, it’s a nice and clean establishment with dining areas and a beer section. Menu prices are not all current, but the owner stated they were updating the menu but will honor list prices.
The food is delicious this is me and my girlfriend second time coming within the last two days. The food is really good really delicious and the service is impeccable thank you so much. We can’t wait to come back again. Order: Stewed Beef,jollof,puff puff,egg roll, and meat patty.
Came here with my boyfriend, we loved it! Great food, great atmosphere, and an overall amazing experience. Absolutely love Harriet too, she's such a talented woman!
