It was very chill there. I only went there because I have an egusi addiction. I must say it really satisfied me. Rich flavors with tender meats.
Very disappointed they will lie and say food is ready when it’s not you will wait 2 hours for your food please avoid done waste your time . There are other African restaurants in this area
This restaurant absolutely exceeded my expectations. My first order from them was for the leave moi moi and being Nigerian, I expected a lot. They did not disappoint at all, the order was prepared on time, the staff were very helpful and polite and to sum it up, the food was delicious. My family and I practically order most Nigerian foods from them now and the overall experience has been great. I will definitely recommend as you would not be disappointed.
Food took 1+ hour to come out. I thought it was because they were making it fresh and that the quality would make up for it. I was horribly wrong. Food was cheaply and skimpily made. Moi moi was watery and flavorless, and the only protein in it was 1/4 of a boiled egg AT MOST. To only be able to spare a sliver of a boiled egg and nothing more for an $6 portion of moi moi is absolutely pathetic. The suya was flavorless as well. Tasted like they cooked unseasoned chicken and sprinkled a bit of suya seasoning on top. Worst of all, the Egusi soup cost $18 and came in a very small portion, and did not include swallow or meat. Extra $5 for swallow and extra $5 for meat. $30 for nonsense. What an absolute disgrace. I am convinced the positive reviews are fake. Would recommend avoiding this place.
I ordered rice with beef. They charge an extra five dollars for beef yet only gave me one piece who is charging five dollars for one small piece of meat. This is my first time ordering from them and my last. Going to stick with Dupsy they have fair price and servings.
