This is hands down one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at an African restaurant. The owner and his wife are incredibly welcoming and made my family and me feel right at home. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish. And the food? Absolutely amazing. I honestly haven’t had a meal this good in a long time. The flavors were authentic, fresh, and perfectly prepared. Their jollof rice with grilled lamb is a MUST TRY 😋🔥 I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious African cuisine and outstanding hospitality!

I used to like going there whenever I went to Houston, yesterday though, it was disappointing how the quality of food has gone down...the grilled lamb was extremely dry and it was hard I couldn't finish the food. I also got some fish when I opened it was not the best, also very dry. My eyes could not "feast" on the foods, so I was skeptical about eating, I tried anyway and unfortunately it did not sell me.

Unique African Cuisine really impressed me! I had grilled goat and Jollof rice and it was A+ AMAZING - full of flavor, cooked perfectly, and that spicy sauce on the side was just right. The service was super friendly and my food came out fresh and hot. I’m already excited for my next visit to get their Fufu and Egusi soup. Highly recommend!

I recently had the tchep fish at Unique African Unique and it was absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly seasoned, fresh, and cooked with so much flavor. The rice was rich, well balanced, and tasted authentic homemade African cuisine. You can really tell that care and passion go into the food here. The portions were generous, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the customer service was great as well. If you’re looking for authentic African food in Houston, I definitely recommend trying the tchep fish at this place. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Love the place . As an Ivorian living in the USA we need a taste of home . And that was delicious 🎉💕 I recommend
