Very good food. We loved the Southwest Blackened Chicken Bowl and our son enjoyed the Kids Cheesy Penne Pasta. We liked the Moondoggie Cookie, but our Chocolate Chip Cookie was overcooked and hard (this was our only disappointment). The staff was friendly. The service was a little slow, despite not being busy, but maybe everything is made from scratch. The restaurant was clean and very nice. The nextdoor parking ramp is free for the first two hours.

I was recommended this place by my girlfriend for a good brunch spot. Me and a friend from out of town visited for the first time. The food was good, although a bit on the pricey side. The turkey burger was good, the sweet potato fries tasted just like they would at most restaurants and the sausage patties were decent. My friend had the pancakes which were huge! He did not finish them and the egg and breakfast potatoes were similar to other places that offer those as menu items. Overall would give this place a solid 7/10.

Ordered an omelette, a toast and potatoes. I like the idea of sparsely putting veggies in potatoes. A little salt in it tasted amazing. Toast was well done, separating the butter and syrup too is a good packaging idea. Goat cheese wasn’t some unde filling ingredient. It was dominant. Did not expect that. Fruits were fresh. No complains. $32 dollars for those items makes everything perfect. Would definitely recommend this place. And visit this place myself too.

It is a nice place to work, have brunch and/ or just hang out with your friends. Staff were responsible and the food was good. We had an Avocado Toast and a Lobster Benedict, which I liked the Avocado Toast more. For the coffee, they offer regular coffee and Texas pecan flavored coffee. If it is your first time in Texas, like me, I would say it worth to try. I did and it is so tasty.

Had a great brunch at Black Walnut Café! I ordered the steak and eggs breakfast, and it did not disappoint — the steak was cooked perfectly, tender and flavorful, and the eggs were just right. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Definitely a solid spot for a quality breakfast or brunch. I’ll be coming back!
