We are staying in the Whitehall and were recommended District 7 restaurant. We were so impressed with our server Thomas and their entire staff. Thomas gave us tremendous insight for spots around Houston and his favorite meals at D7. The food value is amazing for a reasonable price. The restaurant interior is super fun and fun outdoor seating. I got the Wagyu burger and it was superb. For dessert, staff told us to get the Tres Leches Cake — great call. It’s made in house. Finally, we went to brunch the next day for chicken and waffles and a big breakfast meal. Highly recommend the whole menu.
Well 1st. The service was amazing. All of the staff were so very warm.. the coffee was so great and delicious.. now to the food. I had the breakfast tacos and let me tell you they were amazing. My favorite was a mushroom and pepper with cheese and then second was the bacon and egg and cheese so delicious.. definitely recommend this place and if you’re in downtown Houston stop in they won’t be disappointed. Walking distance for the Whitehall hotel
Cute diner indoor, outdoor sitting. The food was awesome better than I expected❤️ I would recommend for brunch or lunch. My server was attentive and sweet.
Food was great, staff was great. I highly recommend based on other local options. We cleared our plates. Would definitely eat here again.
Had the chicken and waffles. Everything was delicious and the waffles were so soft and fluffy!! It had a soft little diner vibe will come back to try other foods they have.
