As our first time at this black owned restaurant our experience was truly phenomenal. We came in shortly after they opened on a Sunday food was hot and fresh. I ordered the meatloaf with brown gravy, mashed potatoes and cabbage. My husband ordered the fried fish with dirty rice and greens. Both meals came with corn bread and were delicious and plentiful. The young lady "Nia" at the counter taking the orders was amazing, she made sure to show each plate to the customers to verify the meal upon receiving it. We got to meet and conversant with the owner whom was very hands on and pleasant. We left this establishment feeling quite satisfied, we even had to get a banana pudding togo as they looked so good we could not resist as they were going so fast we did not want to miss our chance to enjoy it for ourselves. We will surely be returning customers.

Extremely professional and courteous the food was extremely fresh hot and delicious. The atmosphere was clean kind and peaceful. I rate them a 10..💯 the best season tasting food I've had since my Mother crossed over 5/15/25. It was a pleasure eating here today. Thanks 🙏🏽

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (If I could give 20 stars, I absolutely would!) GOOD EATS RESTAURANT is an absolute hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was beyond exceptional. Nia deserves 20 stars all by herself! She was warm, attentive, genuinely welcoming, and made us feel like family. Her hospitality alone is worth coming back for. Now let’s talk about the food…WOW! The Soul Food here is the real deal. The oxtail meal was fall-off-the-bone tender, perfectly seasoned, and packed with rich, homemade flavor. The Po’ Boy sandwich was fresh, loaded with delicious fillings, and absolutely incredible. And don’t even get me started on the daily brisket special—it was smoky, juicy, and cooked to perfection! Everything tasted incredibly fresh and was beautifully presented. You can tell they take pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen. The atmosphere is casual, but the restaurant is spotless, clean, and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy an amazing meal. If you’re looking for authentic, mouthwatering soul food with customer service that goes above and beyond, you HAVE to visit GOOD EATS in person!
