Second time attempting this establishment. First time at this location. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, and the ambiance was really cute. The music was on point, creating a fun vibe, and the service was good. I tried the lamb chops, they were delicious. The dipping sauce was absolutely 🔥 and really made the dish. The drowning dumplings were decent, and the crispy Thai shrimp was good as well. The menu described them as "prawns," but I would say they were more like large shrimp. For drinks, I had a Blue Lemon Drop (not sure what flavor variation it was) and the "Me, Myself, and I." Both cocktails were really good. The only downside was the lack of flexibility with the menu. They don't allow substitutions for sides, so I ended up ordering appetizers instead of an entrée. They also don't allow split checks, which can be inconvenient when dining with a group. Overall, the food, drinks, atmosphere, and music made for a better experience than before. Despite a couple of policy issues, I'd definitely consider coming back.
KISS is always great when we go. We sat at the bar this time and Asia was phenomenal. She knows the menu very well, she smiles with her service and in-between the busyness, she finds time to be personable. ❤️ the food was amaaaaaazing! Omg we did the Mother's day Brunch special. Much. Chefs kiss 💋 🤌🏾 everything was fresh and seasoned to perfection. And we didnt have to wait long for all that food! We always gone be back. Thank you for your continued and consistent customer service.
I loved my experience here at Kiss for Mother’s Day. If your waiter is a guy named Jordan, trust me when I say you are in great hands. He recommended the Lavender French 75 and it was so delicious I had two. My fiancé ordered a frozen peach Bellini, which was very beautiful, but I did not try because I don’t like peach. The catfish and grits I had were delicious. I also tried the oxtail and grits and would highly recommend. There was a salmon dish as well that was tasty. I can definitely see myself coming back. Heads up there is a dress code however, they did not seem to be too strict about it from what I saw.
Mid day Saturday visit (reservation; which I think would be needed) which met expectations. Started to sit at regular table but found out happy hour was only at bar which was a really good experience and service. Many thanks to Brandy on giving amazing bar service and recommendations for drinks and food which really supported the automatic gratuity. The happy hour portion of food was somewhat small (3 seasoned Thai chili shrimp and crab beignets for $11 each) BUT I was told up front so appreciate communication. Had seafood pasta and partner had fried chicken platter which I would recommend both not only for flavor but portion size! Cornbread and collard greens for sure need to be ordered. Magic 8 Ball and Thank Me Later were good drinks for a strong or sweet taste. Music and “vibe” was good, not too loud or crazy which I appreciate when dining. A small bottle from bar accident happened as meal was wrapping up and all staff were very apologetic and making sure we were good. I hope table service is as good as bar service because I would like to come back and have similar experience.
Great ambience and music. The servers were friendly and answered questions about drinks and food. We enjoyed a nice appetizer (deviled eggs). Drinks were ok, I cant remember the name of what I got but it was decent. I had a filet that I asked for medium well, which was more like well done but it taste good, Mac and cheese was great, I also ordered some of their corn bread, that was pretty amazing. I dont like the fact that they add the gratuity. I believe this should be up to the discretion of the guest. Overall good experience.
