La Lucha was top notch! Great restaurant, great food and great customer service. The wait staff were very knowledgeable about the food and drinks. She was very attentive. The food was delicious and so were the drinks. We were a big party celebrating my husband birthday and they gave him a vanilla and Nutella swirl ice cream with a candle on top. We ordered fried chicken for the table and everyone thought it was moist, juicy and crunchy. The biscuits was super good. We also had the collards that came with the chicken. The devil eggs with shrimp were very tasty it came in 3’s so we had to order another one and we gobbled it up. The snapper collars were so tasty well seasoned very flavorful. The redfish on a half shell was also delicious. Everything we ordered we thoroughly enjoyed it. The items on the menu are very shareable for the table. There were zero complaints. Nice atmosphere and children friendly. We will definitely return again.

Went to La Lucha tonight and honestly had a really good experience overall. The smoked jalapeño wood roasted oysters were incredible and probably one of my favorite appetizers we ordered. The burger was solid, fries were great, and the fried chicken, while a little under-seasoned for my taste, was still super crunchy and juicy. The absolute star of the meal though was the redfish on the half shell. Our waiter recommended it and I’m glad we listened because it ended up being the best dish by far. The salsa verde with the fish was such a good combination and balanced everything perfectly. Went to La Lucha tonight and honestly had a really good experience overall. Atmosphere was great, service was friendly, and overall it’s definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend to others.

Don't believe the hype! It took me a while to try this restaurant since I had fell in love with Fins & Feathers IYKYK! However I gave this one a try at 4:30 on yesterday. We didn't do reservations but after we were seated, I watched others after me get waited on but then a sweet server came and took our order cause she noticed my facial expressions! I had an older black gentleman next to me who I asked for recommendations. He immediately said the fried chicken which is what I was told initially that was good by others. I asked about his greens and he said they are OK but not like we want them, that was the code/implication for nope! So I ordered half of chicken, fries, etc. The pretty waitress brought out pork dumplings but I hate spicy food. Still a kind gesture! Wifey tried the shrimp tacos which looked like Jack in the Box duplicates! Overall, meal was a 4 at best! Chicken was mid.... This same menu selection is so much better at Gatlin's til I vow to never return again...! BTW: Oysters were what so many people were ordering...that's not my thing AT ALL. you know it's bad when the best menu selection was fries and they didnt bring it out with the chicken! White meat was hot and fresh....dark had been sitting

the chicken is sooo good here!! my friend is so picky and he actually finally ate here! definitely get the chicken, the biscuits are so so good and don’t skip on trying the jam!!! the burger was decent, fries were good, oysters were delicious and fresh!! the shrimp was good, the collard greens were good as well. service was a little slow outside, can’t speak much for the inside seating. sat at the bar after for another drink and they were so sweet. i wanted a matchbook and they ran out of them here, the bartender offered to grab me one from star rover next door! so sweet!! will definitely be back

Must try location, I got invited checked out the menu I wasn't to excited about it. But once we got there very nice set up. Very good service as well with great food. The appetizers and meals were big portions we all got a little bit of everything including great drinks.
