Enjoyed a wonderful family dinner celebration. Jason was a very attentive server and took care of all our needs. Generous portions on the entrees. The burger was outstanding!
Excellent, excellent. Friendly staff at the door and throughout the restaurant and very attentive. A nice ambience throughout with a warm vibe. An excellent menu of delicious seafood (and additional) options. The Lobster Roll, Deviled Eggs and Shrimp / Crab Scampi was amazing.
I came to liberty yesterday for some oysters, but I ended up having to order other food because the oysters were so swollen looking, un fresh, some of them had stuff inside of them (sand/plastic), some had brown stuff on top of them I mean it was just horrible. I truly think you guys should change your oyster vendor because the oysters here are not good whatsoever. I ended up ordering the avocado toast and a lobster sandwich. But the service was so bad. I never received any salt or pepper for taste on my toast. I also asked for a lemon and the server was stingy with the lemon. I ordered the lobster roll sandwich and I ended up getting sushi. I didn’t even complain because I was so over it. I think your menu needs a whole work up and the chef or something whoever is handling the food needs to do better. The food is poorly made. My sushi instantly fell apart when I tried to eat it. Look at my oysters 🤦🏽♀️🥴🤮 I was too disgusted lol sorry liberty but please do better! 🙏🏽
This was a disappointing experience for the price point. I dined here because I recently moved into the neighborhood and received an incentive flyer at my apartment complex. From the beginning, the experience was disappointing. They offered us (two women) a purse rack but never brought it to the table. Then, we ordered a bottle of wine, the waiter told us he’d bring an ice bucket, and 20 minutes later we had to remind him to bring the ice bucket. We ordered the eggs in purgatory to share. It was served with two small pieces of bread for the enormous amount of tomato sauce (with two poached eggs). We had to ask TWICE for more bread because we were served such insufficient quantities for the tomato sauce. They didn’t forget to charge us for the extra bread. We had to ask for dirty dishes to be cleared from the table after being finished with the meal for ages. When the check came, the manager declined to honor the neighborhood discount because I failed to bring the physical flyer. The flyer said bring proof of residency, which I did, and the manager still refused to honor the discount. The discount would have been worth a meager $10, and it seems like the manager could have found a way to honor the promise. We came here specifically because of the flyer, and we won’t be back after this experience. I looked forward to being a neighborhood regular, but the service today will keep me from coming back. Edit to add: why would you waste my time by asking me to write an email if you aren’t going to respond?
The food is not cheap, but everything is very good. Happy hour from 3 to 6 helps. They are also extending the cheap oysters for a while longer. Update: Went back and they have happy hour on weekends too. Kayla at the bar is so sweet!
