Love the southern home hospitality feeling . A step back to old school cafeteria atmosphere. They prefer cash but take card as well. Food was served warm and politely. Came here during my lunch break and there seemed to be two older ladies working the place. One in the kitchen and one tending to the customers.

OMG, read the reviews, saw the pics and decided to try it. Wow, full of flavor. Ordered the chicken fried chicken, fried pork Chops, green beans, mac and Cheese, rice and gravy...everything was delicious. The meats were so tender. Just the right seasoning. Staff was nice and welcoming.

We wanted soul food for lunch. We ended up at Mama's. The food was fresh, hot and great! We all got different plates and shared. I tasted the chicken OMG that was crazy!!!! I will be getting that next time. Enjoyed the conversation of all the people who have been in there. Even spoke about Hanks ice cream next door.

I was searching for a place to eat and Mama's Oven popped up on the search and I ate here today on 7 July 2026. I had the baked chicken wings, green beans, pinto beans, & corn bread and it was delicious 😋. I would recommend stopping here for a bite. I will definitely be back.
