Mother’s Day brunch at Mastrantos was an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was vibrant, the DJ played incredible music, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The chorizo carbonara pasta was, outstanding. The pancakes were amazing, the burgers and fries were perfect for the kids, and the Nutella pancakes were a huge hit with our daughter. From the music to the service to every bite of food, everything felt special. I highly recommend Mastrantos to anyone looking for a memorable brunch spot in Houston. We will definitely be coming back.

I really enjoyed this restaurant. Great spot if your a small party or even around 5-6 people. The appetizers and entrees were delicious, no notes. Same goes for the cocktails. Definitely worth spinning the block if you’re in the neighborhood.

Hospitality is by far the best I've ever experienced. Jamilla, Andy, Rayo, and Victoria were all lovely and provided such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Many sharing stories of life and providing incredible suggestions for food and drink that I otherwise wouldn't have experienced. A must-go visit for the Heights. Family owned and is felt from the moment you walk in. The pastas fresh and made in house. Could not recommend more highly. I'm honored to have experienced this. Bravo.

How have I not come here before!? Food was delicious, ambience was upscale, stylish, but not pretentious. They had generous pasta portions off the kids menu that my kids devoured. Everything we had was great, Recommend the Arepitas & the Tortelloni w/ Lamb Ragu. Really interesting flavors….We’ll be back soon to explore the menu further & try the cocktails, they looked great!

Jamila was our waitress and from the moment we walked in, she was unbelievably kind, patient, gave fantastic suggestions, very fun to chat with, and gave great overall service. She had recommendations for the next time we come back, she gave us little anecdotes about her experience, and enjoyed our feedback. We got the Arepitas which was absolutely delightful!! We got the tortellini, lamb ragu which was a bowl of many many flavors and garnished with pistachios! Then we got the salmon and pesto risotto and that was so rich and fresh - a perfect summertime dish. All in all highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back!
