Worst auto shop in the history of America. Still traumatized from this place. Lied about everything, caught nasty attitudes, gave me a dirty, beat up, rental car with missing rims. Took 3x longer than promised, and caused my car to have a loud squeak after I got it back. So much more I could say. Don’t trust them. RUN. Horrible business owners. They need to be closed down. I’m with the other reviews, legal action should be taken. They should be ashamed of themselves.

This was, without question, the worst experience I have ever had with a repair shop. After being T-boned in May 2025, my vehicle was dropped off in June along with a full insurance payment for the repairs. Despite that, it took nearly FOUR MONTHS to get my car back—and the only reason I got it back at all was because I escalated the situation and threatened to move it elsewhere. Throughout the entire process, I was given constant runaround and outright contradictory information. One day I was told parts for my Toyota were “rare” and difficult to find. Another day, I was told the parts had already been painted and just needed to dry. Then suddenly, I was told the wrong parts had been ordered and everything had to start over. The lack of transparency and consistency was unacceptable. The loaner vehicle they provided made things even worse. It was filthy, smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, had a check engine light on, no windshield wiper fluid, and even a cracked windshield. I was expected to drive that unsafe, poorly maintained vehicle for months. When I finally contacted my insurance company, they informed me I had the option to remove my vehicle and take it elsewhere. As soon as I told the shop manager, Jesus, that I would be doing exactly that, his initial response was completely unprofessional—raising his voice and attempting to intimidate me with threats of charging thousands of dollars, despite the repairs having already been paid in full. Only after involving my insurance again did his tone suddenly change. I was then told a completely different story—that delays were due to him “fighting” the insurance company for original parts. Moments later, he contradicted himself again by admitting the original parts had already been available and that they were simply trying to negotiate for more money from the insurance company. After months of delays, excuses, and misinformation, I demanded written confirmation that my car would be ready within 48 hours—or I would have it towed out. Miraculously, my vehicle was completed and returned within that timeframe. I also received photo documentation showing parts had been received as early as August—two full months before I got my car back. This entire experience was unprofessional, disorganized, and deeply frustrating. It should not take threats and escalation to get honest answers or timely service. Bottom line: do not rely solely on a body shop to advocate for you. Stay in direct contact with your own insurance company, know your options, and be prepared to push back. You can always take your car to a different body shop if you aren’t happy with your service and you can 1000% remind them of that.

If I could give zero stars that would be great. I had a horrible experience for a minor fender bender it took 8 wks to repair when I was originally told 7-10 days. I understand things happen but I had no communication. Customer service was horrible no one ever answers the phone. I had to physically go to the location to get an update. I truly got a rush job at the end just to get rid of me. Paint was smeared on my back lights, my branded floor mat missing and to top it off they mislabeled the emblem and they are crooked. Check out the pictures. What is WAD??? I have an AWD “all wheel drive” I’m very disappointed in the service I received.

I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Jesus and the entire team at Custom 1 Auto! Shout out to Bella, Alex, Art, Tania, & finally Fernanda. They have been absolutely amazing from start to finish. The customer service alone deserves 100 stars. Jesus went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of, communicated everything clearly, and made the whole experience smooth and stress free. It’s rare to find a shop that treats you with respect, honesty, and patience, but that’s exactly what I found here. They don’t try to upsell you or rush you they listen, they care, and they deliver quality work every single time. You can truly tell they take pride in what they do and value their customers. Thank you again to Jesus and the team for making me feel comfortable, appreciated, and in good hands. If you’re looking for great work, great prices, and even better people Custom 1 Auto is the place to go! 🙌
