Found myself in a situation where my car got stuck in reverse. Found Uptown Automotive through Yelp projects. From the beginning they are very responsive and even sent a tow to pick up the car since I shut it off and the car being stuck in reverse wouldn’t turn back on. The diagnostic was very thorough and their recommendations were easy to follow. Ultimately, I chose to get the work fix for the primary concern. Fair pricing and excellent customer care in my experience.

January 2026 update: I went in to get an axle back exhaust installed on the WRX. Same professional process of contact: they ask for the product pages as well as pictures of the installation areas to better understand and to do the "homework" before the work. Similar to the last installation, Frank, Sarah, and Laura were super friendly and informative during the whole process - from drop off to pick up. Again, MANY THANKS and HIGH RECOMMENDATION from someone who just wants simple bolt-ons installed. September 2025: I called to schedule an appointment to get a rear wing, front lip, side skirts, rear spats, and a rear diffuser installed. Not only did I talk to a real person, but she also asked me for the links to the product pages of the parts as well as pictures of the installation areas on the car. I was very happy to hear these requests because it shows that they prepare before giving a quote and before taking on the job. I’ve had the parts installed on my 2022 WRX for about a month and a half now, and I couldn’t be happier or prouder of the work. Whether it’s by text, email, or in person, the staff is INCREDIBLY friendly, knowledgeable, and upfront. They promptly notified me of modifications that needed to be made while the car was in the shop, and they were very receptive to my comments after the work was complete. They easily and quickly fixed everything when I came back to the shop. I highly recommend Uptown Automotive and will definitely take my car(s) there for future work!

I cant stress enough how legit these guys are. So im a business owner myself and had been looking for a well established reputable body shop to work with and i must say i dont regret it one bit working with Uptown Auto Body. I called a few places around and found Uptown Auto Body as they had excellent reviews and spoke with Zameer the owner to begin with. Zameer is extremely friendly, knowledgable and will go the extra mile to make sure his customers are satisfied with a quick turn around. Every person from Zameer the owner to the receptionist sarah laura frank were all awesome to deal with. Shop is very clean well organized and can tell these guys take pride in what they do as their work speaks volumes. They kept me posted through the process of the repairs. I definetely will be working with Zameer moving forward with all my customer and my personal vehicles. If u guys are looking for a body shop in Houston look no further and hit up Zameer and promise u wont have any regrets these guys are the real deal. Thanks zameer for the outstanding job and taking such good care of me. They definetely earned a loyal customer.

Uptown did a great job with my car. They diagnosed same day and presented me with a thorough inspection report and estimate. After approving the estimate they made the repairs and then tested the car again to make sure it would run smoothly. Unfortunately there were other issues, but Frank called and was very candid with me and explained why my car did what it did. Again, I got a new report and estimate. Communication via text and phone was great and super responsive. I'll definitely go back and recommend my family there.

Been using uptown for a while. They have repaired a few of my cars that have been in accidents. Customer service is great. I drop off the car and they keep me updated on progress. They get things done in a timely manner. This last time, my car was functional so they went ahead and got the parts ordered for me and then called me in to drop off the car. Repairs were done very quick. They also started doing the ceramic tint so I had them do that too.
