I meant to do this review right after my experience, so I hope I have the employees name correct π¬ but I believe his name is Rudy. I visited the store a couple of weeks ago and he was so helpful and is a great asset to the store/company. He has a great energy/personality and great with customers. Wanted to highlight/spotlight him for helping me with questions and having to buy a new battery. Thanks, Rudy!
Woke up this morning to a dead car battery, so I had to remove the battery myself, Uber to AutoZone, and figure out what was wrong. I was expecting it to take hours, but the entire process took about 10 minutes thanks to the amazing team there. A special shoutout to Erik Betancourt! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful. I walked in frustrated, hot, sweaty, and already having a rough morning, but I walked out smiling. Great customer service really does make all the difference. Whoever hired Erik deserves a pat on the back! And if he ever decides he wants to get into banking, I may just have to recruit him. π Thanks again for turning a stressful morning into a great experience!
I had an amazing experience at this AutoZone location thanks to Carlos. After a long and exhausting day dealing with car issues, I accidentally purchased the wrong battery because I said the wrong year. As soon as Carlos started the installation, he immediately caught the mistake. He calmly walked me through returning the battery, helped me get the correct one, and installed it without any frustration or hesitation. He was extremely patient, respectful, and kind the entire time, which truly meant a lot given how tired and stressed I was. The entire installation took under 15 minutes, and his professionalism and customer service were outstanding. Carlos went above and beyond, and honestly, he should be running the store. Experiences like this are why Iβll continue coming back to AutoZone.
I would like to thank Rudy for helping me replace my battery. He was very nice and respectful.. The service was excellent. Thank you once again Rudy.
I had a very disappointing experience at AutoZone on Westheimer on Friday, May 28. I came in asking for help because my car was making a noise and I needed advice about fluids. Before I could even finish explaining the issue, the employee interrupted me and told me to βtake it to a mechanic.β I felt dismissed and disrespected. The employee then laughed and joked with another worker instead of helping me. When I asked to speak to a manager, he refused and claimed he was the manager. I honestly felt discriminated against and treated differently because I am a woman. After I left the store, the employee followed outside pretending to help another customer, but kept staring at me, which made me very uncomfortable. I expected professionalism and respect, and unfortunately I did not receive either. #racism
