I needed someone to do a PPI on a diesel pickup I was looking to buy. I searched google and found Houston Mobile Mechanic and Diesel Repair (Anthony), sent the text and asked if he could look at the potential trucks I was considering purchasing on somewhat short notice. He said yes, I went and looked at a few diesels but only one i was extremely serious about buying. It was over 30 years old so the list of potential problems were endless. I called Anthony, he was able to get down to the dealership WITHIN AN HOUR and do a pre-purchase inspection on the pickup, and he gave a run down of what was wrong with the truck. It was critical that he be there quickly because this truck was HOTT on the market, multiple people coming to look at it every day. Some repairs definitely needed, but the truck he said was solid. I was astonished because I was expecting bad news because the truck was priced soo aggressively for its immaculate condition. Long story short, i bought the truck, took it to a diesel mechanic shop, expecting the absolute worst news (the truck sounds a little different and was running a little off to my ears and some relative’s ears), but sure enough they came back and said EXACTLY what Anthony had said would be the likely fix, some injectors and there were a couple of leaks to try to mitigate. I waited a couple of weeks to write this review so I could give an ACCURATE accounting of Anthony’s services. He did not have the privilege of having a shop and a bunch of tech to hook up to the pickup at the PPI, but he still identified the problems spot on, so that I was able to negotiate a lower price for the truck to offset the impending repairs. Now that this is somewhat resolved, certainly Anthony’s part is, I am ecstatic with the job he did. There were zero surprises at the diesel mechanic shop when they did an inspection to estimate all the repairs to be done. Anthony provided EXACTLY what I wanted in a pre-purchase inspection service, I solely trusted his knowledge and experience with a $10,000 purchase, that had the potential to turn into a $25-$30k nightmare if something had been seriously wrong. But as far as the mechanics can see on this pickup without tearing it apart and inspecting every single little detail, he provided the service I requested, but man did he pull through for me on this one. If a family member or myself ever needed a PPI done on a diesel pickup in the Houston area, call Anthony and Houston Mobile Mechanic and Diesel Repair. You will thank yourself later!

Anthony was great on his late night call out. I was stranded on the highway and he immediately had his team members dispatched to me! Great Diesel Mechanic RoadSide Service! I had an excellent experience with this mobile mechanic service. After my wife’s car 2011 Honda CR-V developed a no-start issue, I searched for a highly rated mobile mechanic, and ChatGPT recommended this company as the number one option in my area. I'm glad I decided to call them. From the very first phone call (Anthony), the communication was professional, courteous, and straightforward. They arrived at my house within the promised time window, thoroughly diagnosed the problem, clearly explained their findings, and never pressured me into unnecessary repairs. They identified a defective battery, installed a quality replacement, and also replaced the serpentine belt and belt tensioner. The work was completed efficiently, and everything was done with attention to detail. After the repair, the engine started immediately, idled smoothly, and no longer had the severe vibration it had before. It now runs quietly and starts consistently every time. I especially appreciated their honesty, professionalism, and willingness to explain the diagnosis before performing the repair. Their diagnostic fee was applied toward the labor, which I felt was fair and transparent. He also, did my car rear brakes rotors and brake pads both cars were done withing 3 hours. That is amazing. That would have taken me just to do the rear brakes 3 days. (Fri., Sat, Sun.) The whole crew was professional and very courteous with “Yes Sir to me and Yes Ma’am to my wife” If you're looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and professional mobile mechanic in the Houston area, I highly recommend this company. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again for future repairs.

Anthony took great care of me! He was very clear on timeline and what needed to get done. When things didn’t go as planned (weather, etc) he made sure to give me a new timeline and was even generous enough to help me find a way to get around while my car was being worked on. He is fair and honest and extremely helpful. As someone who doesn’t know much outside of the basics for cars, I felt extremely in the know with the way Anthony broke everything down. He was clear on pricing and all the options we could go through and really made me feel like my car was in good hands. When I got my car back, it was just like new! Definitely my go to guy now any time something comes up. You will be extremely happy with the end result!

friendly, FAST service. Anthony’s teammember came to install a new battery on-site. my husband and i were in SHOCK with how fast Esteban removed the old bartery and installed the new on— truly. and anthony has some of the best customer service skills, paired with great technical skills that will surely be the reason for continued success and repeat customers.
