Walk-up bakery I decided to try while in the area. Heard about EaDough from an online newspaper 📰 💻. I ordered the breakfast bodega. Friendly service from staff who I placed my order with but I expected more taste-wise from the sandwich. The bagel did not taste fresh and was not warmed up. I did like the thick-cut bacon. 🥓 I should’ve maybe tried to substitute the bagel🥯 for a croissant 🥐.

The chicken pita was the most amazing pita I’ve ever had. I wasn’t a big fan of the croissant but it was something different. It’s not something I’d order again. There were also a few flies floating by the desserts. I let it go since it’s strictly an outside dinning. There isn’t any inside seating but there’s parking to the side and by the front entrance.

The curb appeal is better than what you get from it. The breading and croissants lack the crispness that you would expect from a pastry shop and feel more like bakery mass production. The flavor of the chicken kolache is excellent but the roll itself lacks texture and flavor. The sausage jalapeño kolache has the same issue with breading and the sausage seems like a store brand hot dog weenie. The guava pastry had a great flavor but lacked the crispness you would expect on the surface. The cheese kolache was great and had excellent flavor. The cherry croissant was a bit crispier than other pastries, very good choice. All lattes ordered were excellent, packing that punch from a good coffee. I’m sorry but I felt Shipley kolache outdid the one from here.

Great coffee shop, but if you have at least 3 people ahead of you then your order will take a Good while. No drivethrough nor close by parking. Their pastries were fresh and delicious!

I had high hopes for EaDough, but overall it was just okay. The food wasn’t bad, but it also wasn’t great. Nothing really stood out as spectacular. The coffee was also a bit disappointing, it tasted pretty weak and lacked the bold flavor I was expecting. The place itself is nice, but based on the food and drinks alone, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Limited outdoor seating only.
