Service: I came in at the end of a small pop. It still only took the perfect amount of time to see all the inventory, and know that which I wanted. The service members, Olga and Miguel, were welcoming without being overbearing. They clearly know their jobs well. Espresso- really good, a sipping espresso, let it sit for 20 seconds to breathe (longer if you want to make Italian grandmothers happy) Tart- This was a daily special, and I highly recommend it appear occasionally. The cream underneath was semi-sweet, and the figs with it were perfection. The pistachio cream in the middle is so good. The crust though is what makes it for me—buttery, and crispy in the way a tart should be. Atmosphere: small, intimate. I would suggest an outing with one friend, maybe two. A quick lunch date would be a good choice. I will be back just to breathe after gym/personal time. 10/10 will return
This looked so promising…great reviews, beautiful presentation, clean shop, gorgeous pastries. But damn what a downer. Tried 5 different pastries - all were mid. Too doughy, too much starch, too sweet. The only barely acceptable was the strawberry mouse. But even that had a soggy cake bottom v_v
The pastries were amazing. We expected to have lunch here but it was first come first serve, so we only had some pastries, Omg the Raspberry Nutella thing was delicious, my bf had a tiramisu cannoli, it had coffee beans in it and he loved it. The Italian soda was okay
Amazing bakery! So worth the drive. A variety of selections and an array of expresso drinks.
These are headed straight for the trash. The donut had a burned topping, and the Bomboloni filling was far from appetizing. Definitely not the quality I expected—$14 completely wasted.
