What a perfect way to start with a great cup of coffee and oh my those cinnamon rolls were so satisfying. I especially enjoyed seeing what was being created behind the scenes. What a beautiful touch!
Been here twice and the 1st time I only ordered coffee. That coffee was so hot it took 30 minutes to cool off. It was good though. The 2nd time I went I tried 2 food items in the fridge and a seasonal cookie. The pizza kolache was so good. I forgot it was vegan. The entire food selection is vegan. I asked the gentleman when I was checking out was a this vegan and he said yes. The other item I ordered was a vegan sausage, cheese and Jalapeño kolache. That one was my least favorite. But that strawberry matcha cookie didn't even make it home.
We needed vegan baked goods for the holidays. Found this place. Blown away. End of story. Cinnamon buns, marble cakes, snickerdoodles - everything we got was delicious. (No food photos because our family ate it all immediately.) We did not get to try their family size lasagna - but we will be back. Staff were very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful.
I tried the cheesecake with apples and pecans it was soooo good. And for someone who is not big on sweets. It was not too sweet and it was a great balance. The bottom of the cheese cake was a bit soggy. That was hard to get past as a person who has a thing about food textures. But I will give them another try and update if that improves. I did end up adding piece of cookie that also wasn't overly sweet to add a crunch factor. Update - I visited the bakery because I have been wanting cheese cake. This time I tried the pistachio chocolate chip. And it is delicious. It does not scream pistachio it tastes sublte to me. It's very creamy , not overpowering sweetness , with a hint of nuttiness . 👌🏽 They have so many desserts in there it is a sweet lovers dream. The person at the register was kind, and helpful. For the 2nd time the bottom of the pie was soggy. So this time I'm just eating the filling bc I just won't eat that wet soggy bottom. If you're not a wet bread person.. don't eat the pie crust bottom. 😩
Sinfull Bakery is truly amazing. For those looking to support a locally owned small business for their coffee, breakfast, lunch, and bakery needs, Sinfull is hard to beat. The atmosphere is so charming and crew are incredible — it’s one of those spots that instantly makes you comfortable. They sell such a huge variety of vegan items, including kolaches, breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, lunch items, tamales - all that even non-vegans will love. It's really all about their desserts though... the pop tarts, cookies, cheesecakes, muffins, and GIANT tres leches are absolutely delicious. Best thing is they are constantly adding new flavors (looking at you, pistachio chocolate!). And their famous cinnamon rolls are easily the best in town, vegan or not. On the beverage side, the coffee, teas, smoothies, and matcha are consistently excellent. Pro tip: try the Cinnamon Roll Latte — they actually mix in cinnamon roll icing, and it’s every bit as amazing as it sounds. Sinfull Bakery is a true Houston gem — a perfect combination of local charm, soul, creativity, and deliciousness!
