Responding to the bakery comment: I never added 6 more ever! Or said 15, not sure where you’re getting that. On the phone I ordered 24. And these cupcakes look horrible! Yes I knew the price but given your other work I expected a prettier presentation! You could have told me about the glitter when I was waiting, but didn’t. I will let everyone know what a waste of money you are and how rude you are to even comment back like you did. Hopefully whoever called to order 6 more actually got how many they needed. My request was simple and you failed! I know I ordered the day before that’s why I didn’t make it super complicated for you, but this presentation is absolutely unacceptable for the price I paid. I asked for sprinkles not confetti, there’s a difference. I really hope they taste good. Original Review: I recently paid $150 for 24 cupcakes I wanted half chocolate and half strawberry gluten free. There are 17 kids in my daughter’s class and 1 of them has a gluten allergy so instead of him feeling left out I got them all the same. I asked for the chocolate cupcakes to have vanilla frosting, the strawberry ones to have chocolate frosting, then one of each to have a little pink fondant strawberry to make those special ones for my daughters birthday celebration in her class. I also asked for pastel sprinkles and glitter. I called before I left work at 3pm to see if they were ready and the young man who answered the phone said they would be ready in 20 minutes and I said ok perfect it’ll take me that long to arrive with traffic. I get there and waited just a little while maybe 5 minutes after the young man told me he has to pack them up, then comes back with a paper and said “it looks like you added 15 more cupcakes”. I said “no I only ordered 24”. He went around the back and told I’m assuming the owner and I heard him yell loudly “OH NOW SHE DOESN’T WANT THEM WHATEVER HERES 24” I was immediately put off because I was being accused of something that I didn’t do! Why would I call and ask for 15 more when I have 24 enough for 17 kids? When he finally came back to bring me the cupcakes there was no glitter and just tiny sprinkles of confetti topping when I asked for sprinkles not confetti. He said he can spray the glitter really quick and I said no don’t worry about it. I’m sorry but these look like HEB or Kroger quality and I was going to order them from there but I saw how awesome the photos of the cakes were that I felt these would be so pretty for the price I paid! I wasted a lot of money on these cupcakes. I do not recommend this place just based off the rudeness I encountered. $150 for these, can’t believe it.
We ordered our wedding cake from here, and it was absolutely perfect—beautiful and, more importantly, delicious! We had it delivered to the venue; it arrived a little later than expected, but I had built in extra time, so it wasn’t an issue at all. The pricing was more than fair, and the staff was incredibly helpful throughout the ordering process. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience!
Ordered cookies for a baby shower and was very excited. Pickup day was 4/11/26. The baby shower is 4/12/26. Gave photo of what was wanted and confirmed that they could be done. Went to pick up the cookies and the design was completely wrong and they were unable to fix the cookies as there cookie designer was not there. Yes they gave a discount on the cookies, however we still had cookies with our last name spelled wrong and the design looked like a wreath and not like a baby bib. The last name was HONORE, and it was spelled correctly on the design paper. The cookies have horone or home so we are stuck with badly designed cookies 24 hours before our baby shower. Cookies are broken. Writing on some is not legible. There isnt enough icing on some cookies. Would not recommend using them at all.
Village Bakery is truly exceptional! If you’re looking for a bakery that can turn your ideas into works of art, this is the place to go. Their cakes are not only stunning in presentation but also absolutely delicious in quality. For our daughter’s fairy-themed birthday party, we brought them a design we had in mind. What they created was even better than we imagined—a magical cake that looked so beautiful it was almost too perfect to cut into. The attention to detail was remarkable, and every element showed their dedication to making something truly special. We are so grateful for their talent and care in bringing our vision to life. Village Bakery goes above and beyond, and I can’t recommend them highly enough for anyone wanting a cake that’s both a showstopper and a delight to eat.
Amazing cake they made for me. Everyone really really loved the taste. The work was done clean and beautiful 😍. The only thing I left one star hanging is for delivery, I was extremely disappointed and sad that the cake arrived 2 hour past my party 🥳 the company have not offered any compensation no discount toward next order nor it gave me a refund for the delivery. Unprofessional.
