Place is truly awesome. Seat yourself place. We sat outside, inside was packed. This was 5 pm Friday. Had the gulf coast shrimp half shell with miso garlic butter, done. Amazing!! My wife had the club sandwich and enjoyed it. I had the burger. It was alright but hey, didn't matter, place was very cool. Our server checked on us several times and was wonderful too. Great place, check it out. I will definitely go back and try something else.

Always a good time. I love the updates done in the last few years. Comfortable seating, great good, friendly staff, fantastic cocktails. They also have a good happy hour deal. I enjoyed the chicken thigh skewers and the French fries on my latest visit. I had the working title cocktail with rum, apertivo and pineapple and really enjoyed it.

We went on steak night. The steak was not seasoned well and the baked potato was hard. We did get their shrimp appetizer which was pretty good but the bread was too hard to eat.

Review is only for brunch and not for cocktails, which are what they are known for, so take it with a grain of salt! Nut allergy friendly: It was mentioned that nuts aren't really used in their brunch, so that's great. Time-to-Order: 40 Minutes Parking: A small lot that you enter from the Yale Street side. It's bigger than it looks because it loops around the building but there still isn't that much parking, maybe 20-30 spots total. Arrived around 11:40AM on a Saturday morning and found parking easily. You seat yourself and waiters will come find you. This happened relatively quickly for us as we sat outside. There is a patio and indoor seating options. Definitely gives off neighborhood bar vibes, very iconic of a Heights bar. Getting our meals took quite a while - Definitely a spot to take your time, potentially enjoy the weather if it's not too swelteringly hot, and order a cocktail or two. I ordered the Spicy Shakshuka (4/5), which came with four pieces of pita. I requested some more pita and got four extra pieces (5/5 service). The dish itself was good, with the right amount of heat and actually quite filling with a surprisingly good fresh pita bread that was just crispy enough on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I think it's a bit pricey for the size. Downside: The complimentary water doesn't come out cold, which is unfortunate on a hot Houston day. I will definitely come back to try its cocktails, as many people were enjoying one. Overall, I can definitely see why it is a cornerstone of the Heights bar scene.

Better Luck Tomorrow unique name and better yet excellent customer service, food, and drinks. My burger was very tasty and cooked to perfection. My hubs had the shrimp on the halfshell which he enjoyed with an old fashion.
