Visited on a Sunday morning for brunch, the decorations and vibe are like an antique diner. There was no wait. You order at the bar and seat yourself. Employees weren't quite rude, but they were not friendly or welcoming neither, I have to say. After ordering and sit down, our food came out fairly quickly. Portions were generous. I ordered the brisket and eggs, my brisket was good on flavor and portion, but it was cold. Also I ordered fruit instead of fries and I was expecting at least a small cup of fruit like other places do, instead I got the thinnest slice of watermelon. My husband ordered chicken and waffles and he liked them. We did not order drinks, but they definitely offer mimosas and all kinds of alcoholic drinks. They offer daily specials and the also have seating outside at the patio. Note that parking is limited on the street and they have a small lot next to the bar which fills up petty quick too. So the minus points this visit were the cold brisket, small amount of fruit, and they need to pay more attention to cleaning the tables. Ours and the one next to us where dirty and nobody cleaned them during the time we were there.

When you drive to and from work, you pass many places this restaurant is situated on a side street of the main road, so if you’re not looking in the direction, you might miss it but once you see it, you can’t take your eyes off the decor. Even the seats were unique, different levels, different heights, different types of seats and it seemed like everybody was in their own little living room. That also had a bar in it. I had the I don’t even know how to say it, but with the hamburger with the egg on it and it was wonderful. I wish I’d take more pictures. I only read it a four stars because you have to order at the bar and it seemed like there is only one person in customer service. The rest were waitstaff, dropping your food off and cleaning the tables.

Canyon Creek serves some AMAZING tasting dishes. They have some real creativity and quality in their dishes. The wings are amazing with great spice, the sandwiches are massive, they have crawfish platters too that smell great. They have a large variety of drinks too. Sit inside or out on the porch for a nice day. You order your drinks at the bar, my only criticism is that it was a little slow to get drinks since you have to stand and wait to order, but the staff is friendly. I would absolutely recommend.

Nut allergy friendly: No issues here! Parking is relatively difficult. There are a few spots in front, and they have signs for locations on overflow parking. Time to Order (weekday lunch): 8 minutes for a salad, 17 minutes for the Lunch Special sandwiches First off, I've got to highlight what an awesome lunch special they have. $6 for a burger or chicken sandwich is excellent! We arrived around 12:45PM. There were few enough people for me to snag the last parking spot up to the patio. You order at the bar and they'll bring food to the table. I asked how large the lunch special Lil' Chick Sammich and Lil' Creek Burgers were and they said they were on the smaller side. My interpretation was that meant something like a slider, so I ordered both the burger and the chicken sandwich with fries. They reeeeally undersold that one. The chicken sandwich was very reasonably normal sized and plenty enough for my lunch. I ended up taking the burger home. Lil Chick Sammich (4.5/5): Excellent for the value. Fresh ingredients, big piece of white meat chicken that wasn't too dry. Don't forget to ask for mayo. Fries: (4/5) Decent portions and came out reasonably crispy. Lil Creek Burger (2/5): I'd pass on burgers here. Way too salty and overcooked well done. Maybe if I had a beer with it! Overall, their lunch menu definitely has value and I'd swing by again for that if I had a working lunch.

The food was fantastic. The staff was friendly. Although, it was way over priced. The white queso, too expensive for a small cup, delicious but not for the price for what you are served. I do recommend the visit
