Went for a late girl dinner and the food was delicious. Got the burrata appetizer and it was seasoned really well. Got the SOL sweet for my drink and it didn’t disappoint as a mocktail. Also got the crab cakes. Delicious and well portioned! The rooftop views and inside views were stunning and the mood was just right. The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. Parked with hotel valet for a 2 hour at $15 special!

This has to be one of the most disappointing brunches I've attended in Houston. It started with the arrival and a very uninterested host who barely stood up to greet us. The place it self looks like a cheap hotel breakfast area with no real vibe. In top of that the windows were so dirty you could hardly see what little view there was. The staff seemed to all be fairly unprofessional or untrained to be at a high end hotel. Asking if you want me to pour you a glass of wine when delivering the bottle was a bit odd and we had to fill our glasses after that. The food was decent though. On top of that you're charged $32 for valet parking despite being there for less than 2 hrs. I definitely would avoid this place and it likely means the hotel itself is probably not great if this is how they handle their restaurant. I feel bad for the people that paid millions for their private residences here. 😬

I had the $30 mini puck size crab cakes. My husband had the burger. He said his was OK. My crab cakes tasted fishy. Don't expect too much. The gross were warm and I could tell they were likely under the heat lamp for a minute. The blue bottles they use to pour out the tap water are cute but the water still tastes like tap water.

We missed the breakfast and decided to come down for lunch before checking out. Their drink menu had lots of selections. We ordered the Hisbiscus Margarita and the Spritz del sol, which made with casamigos blanco, pineapple, lime, and jalapeno. Both drinks were delicious. I had the Jumbo lump crab cake, which came with spicy aioli, argula salad, and truffle fries. It's really fullfilling, the spicy aioli was amazing. But the crab cake itself was abit too salty and the flavor felt slightly overwhelming. We also got the Carne Asada, which came with marinated carne asada, aaroz verde, charr roasted pepeprs, onions, and flour tortillas. The carnae asada was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender, with spot on flavor. Highly recommended!

I had a bit of a mixed experience at Sol7, but the highlights definitely made it worth the visit! The Vibe & Service The rooftop atmosphere is absolutely stunning—it’s easily the best part of the venue. The staff were also incredibly kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The Space If you’re heading here, try to snag a spot on the terrace. While the outside seating is spacious and breezy, the indoor area felt a bit crowded and tight. The Food Everything we ordered was truly delicious. You can tell the quality is there, though I have to mention the portion sizes were quite small for the price point. It’s more of a "quality over quantity" type of spot. The Downside The biggest hiccup was that the restrooms were out of order. Having to go to a different floor was pretty inconvenient, especially when you're trying to enjoy a night out. Overall: Great for a date or drinks with a view, just maybe grab a snack beforehand!
