I had an amazing experience at Cutthroat Barbershop in Montrose with Pete. Initially, I went to their Heights location, where the staff was super helpful in finding me a same-day appointment with Pete in Montrose. Once there, the service was quick and welcoming. Pete greeted me with a great attitude (and a very impressive beard himself!). He gave me a fantastic haircut and beard trim, complete with hot towel, oils, and styling paste to finish. Beyond his technical skill, Pete is genuinely personable. We even had a thoughtful conversation about human rights. If you're looking for top-notch service with a socially engaged barber, Pete is your guy!

I’d been to the Washington location before, but this was my first time at the Montrose shop and I had no idea who to book with. Took someone’s recommendation from Google Reviews and went with Flor, great decision! She gave me one of the best cuts I’ve had in a long time. Super detail-oriented, easy to talk to and nailed exactly what I wanted. I’ll definitely be going back to see her again.

Had an amazing experience with Flor at Cutthroat during my first time in Houston on a layover. From the moment I walked in, everything felt welcoming, professional, and just genuinely good vibes. Flor absolutely nailed my haircut; clean, sharp, and exactly what I needed. But what really stood out was how above and beyond they went. They took the time to suggest local happy hour spots and special events happening around the city, which made my short stay feel way more fun and connected. The amazing Melinda has been cutting my hair for 3 years. She is amazing and always goes above and beyond! Plus, the vibe of the shop when it’s busy is what is the cherry on top. Always enjoy when it’s time to go back!

I’ve been going to LG at Cutthroat almost every month since 2023, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. I first saw him cutting hair in the shop and could tell immediately by his technique and focus that he was the correct barber for me. I am incredibly picky about my haircuts, but LG has done an excellent job every single time—even when I decide to change my style completely and ask for something brand new. He is a true professional, and his attention to detail really shows in his work. If you are looking for a consistent, talented barber who actually listens to what you want, I highly recommend booking with LG
