Top quality experience and a nice trim, being from the UK I’ve never seen something like this is a barbers! And the welcome was a nice touch, who can fault a bar after feeling fresh?🔥 Also a very nice touch with the welcome message for first time visitors, very friendly staff with fun conversations! Will be returning when I’m back 🤝✅ Probably the most I love spent for a haircut ever but paying for the experience I suppose, felt very relaxed 😌

Brilliant. Best cut I’ve had in years. Come for the great work. Stay for the great vibes. They even introduced me to a Bourbon I’d never had in an Old Fashioned that was better than many bars. And with your new membership, they offer multiple cards for free cuts and services to give friends and family.

Salon on Kirby (SOK) consistently provides an outstanding experience. I have repeatedly received the best haircuts, along with attentive, top-notch service from a professional and welcoming team. They also carry an excellent selection of high-quality styling products. I highly recommend SOK to anyone looking for exceptional service and consistently great results.

Everyone was super kind and helpful, I explained what I wanted and even made an adjustment mid cut with no complaints, just great work and attitudes all around. The drinks were pretty great too, I might just get there early to sit at the bar from now on.

I arrived 7 minutes late for an appointment because of rush hour traffic. When I arrived, I was told they “might” not have time to give me a full cut and asked if I wanted to reschedule. The woman at the desk was then visibly annoyed when I asked her to confirm whether or not they could in fact give me a full cut. She then confirmed being seven minutes late foreclosed a full cut. One on hand, this seemed pretty absurd, especially considering they have forced me to wait more than 20 minutes past my scheduled appointment time in the past, but the way they handled it is the real reason I won’t go back. When I declined (because i needed a haircut…) the woman at the desk wasn’t apologetic at all—she continued being visibly annoyed—and instead threatened to charge me full price next time for a no show (for the haircut they were unable to give me). Just a bad experience all around. The woman at the desk doesn’t seem well suited for a customer facing role, based on my interaction with her today. I’ve gotten my hair cut there for about a year now, but I guess I’ll go back to Orthaus instead. They’re a solid 20% over comparable places in Montrose anyway.
