Went to drag brunch at Boheme with a group of friends and overall had a good experience. The reservation process was easy, and I appreciated receiving a confirmation text the morning of our brunch. When we arrived, the check-in process was a little confusing since there wasn't anyone directing guests where to go, but once we made our way to the back patio, we were seated fairly quickly. The biggest issue was our table. Our party of four was placed at an awkward corner table with a pole in the middle, making it difficult to sit across from one another and enjoy conversation. I asked about moving, but was told the other tables were reserved. The buffet was excellent with generous portions and great food. Service was a bit slow, especially getting our drink orders, but our waitress seemed to be handling a lot of tables and remained friendly throughout. The drag queens were beautiful, entertaining, and did a great job interacting with the audience. My only suggestion would be to include a few more performance numbers, as most of the time was spent walking around the patio and engaging with guests. Overall, the atmosphere was fun, the food was very good, and we had a great time. While no place is perfect, I think the seating arrangements could be improved, especially considering the brunch costs about $45 per person. I'd still recommend it to anyone looking for a fun drag brunch experience in Houston.
Boheme offers a stylish, energetic dining experience with strong food and atmosphere. From the start, the vibe stands out—modern, lively, and well-suited for both dinner and a night out. Later in the evening, the DJ adds to the energy, making it feel more like a social destination than just a restaurant. Service was excellent. Angelica was a great bartender—friendly, attentive, and clearly comfortable behind the bar. She brought a warm, welcoming presence that made the experience better overall and kept everything running smoothly. The food was solid across the board. The beef manti was flavorful and well-prepared, with rich seasoning and good texture. The truffle burger was indulgent and satisfying, and the truffle mushroom flatbread delivered exactly what you’d hope for—earthy, aromatic, and well-balanced without being overwhelming. A Topo Chico was a refreshing, clean pairing with the meal. The only downside was the 22% service charge. While the service itself was strong, I do hope this doesn’t become the norm, as it can catch guests off guard. Overall, Boheme is a nice place with good food, strong drinks, and a fun nighttime atmosphere. If you’re looking for a spot that transitions well from dinner into a lively evening scene, this is definitely worth checking out
Our favorite neighborhood happy hour/bar/restaurant! The food is fantastic, drinks are fabulous, (the frozen mojito is life changing) and the people are just the best! Angelica is our favorite bartender, always ready with a smile and so kind. There isn’t a better happy hour in Houston, for both taste and value. Get the beef empanadas and the barbacoa tacos, Vietnamese fries and calamari, and thank me later!
I came here with 3 friends for part of a bachelorette celebration for the drag brunch. Seating and DJ started at 11am, the buffet opened around this time with delicious food from French toast covered in honey, empanadas, breakfast tacos, to yogurt parfaits. We also did a pitcher of mimosas which were good. The two drag queens were beautiful and great performer. It started with a few rounds of bingo then there was a drag show. It is very energetic, upbeat, and a great time!
Loved everything about this place; great atmosphere, food, drinks. Love the happy hour and received great service from everybody. The espresso martini was smooth and chocolatey, the dizzy guava lit my molars on fire (in a good way). Will be back, can't wait to try drag brunch.
