Clarkwood is one of my favorite spots in Houston for a night out! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, elegant, sexy, and perfect for date night or drinks with friends. The music created a fun vibe without feeling like a typical bar, and the cocktails were fantastic. One thing you absolutely have to try is the s’mores dessert. It’s delicious, interactive, and the perfect way to end the evening. It is on the pricier side, but you’re paying for the experience as much as the atmosphere and drinks. If you’re looking for a stylish place with great cocktails, a lively atmosphere, and a memorable night out, Clarkwood is definitely worth a visit. We’ll definitely be back!

As a former speak easy buff, this place was perfect get away on my trip to Houston. Absolutely loved the decor, the crew and the vibe. Each cocktail looked exquisite. My friend got the Lychee and mango martinis and raved about it. It was one of my fav speak easy spots I’ve visited in a while and can’t wait to come back to it. Franky was our bartender and he was superb.

I made a reservation for the tasting experience to celebrate my friend's birthday, and it was a great choice. I arrived a little before our reservation, and from the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was lively with a great mix of music and conversation. I was immediately impressed by the décor—it has a beautiful upscale lounge feel. The tasting was held in The ARC, a separate area of the lounge that created a more intimate setting with a small group. The entire experience was well planned, the cocktails were expertly crafted, and the atmosphere felt sophisticated without being pretentious. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout the experience. One suggestion: eat before you go. The tasting includes light bites, but if you're expecting a meal, you'll probably want something more beforehand. I did ask for some crackers, and they were happy to accommodate. Also, keep in mind that parking is street parking only. Overall, I highly recommend this experience. It's perfect for birthdays, date nights, or anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable evening out.

If you love a vintage, glamorous 1930s vibe, this bar delivers. Early in the night it’s perfect for conversation, and later a DJ brings the energy—fair warning, it can get a bit loud. The drinks are standout: beautifully crafted and delicious.
