Came to watch America v. Australia FIFA and despite it being busy, the staff and food and everything was amazing. Well done to management preplanning well and hiring great staff. Definitely coming back sometime there isn’t a game playing, just to enjoy the place.
Flying Saucer is such a great place to just hangout with friends & family. I've been here several times and they never disappoint. And now if you find yourself walking around the new "Good Times on Main" this place is definitely one of those spots you must try, especially if you're bar-hop'n. Start or end there you won't regret it. I had there Paco bowl; it was delicious, light, and full of flavor. My wife had a salad, and my son had one of the sandwiches with fries. Drinks we had St Arnold's Watermelon Cider and St Arnold's Lawnmower and a Mango Pilsner. All were great.
Perfect if you are looking for a casual spot with lots of beer options. We sat at the bar in order to couple local Brews. Everything we had was great. We had an excellent server who was very attentive and explained why there were so many saucers in the place. Turns out, with an inexpensive membership you try a certain number of beers and get a saucer on the wall. We aren't local or I would have done it! We also happen to be there on Tuesday night which is trivia night. We had so much fun answering the questions and realizing we aren't as smart as we thought we were.
Lots of beer options to choose from in draft, bottle, or can. They also have plenty of food options to choose from as well. Pizza and pretzels are my favorite here. They have specials and events during the week. Good place to watch a game or come before and after a baseball game downtown.
Excellent experience at the Flying Saucer Draught Emporium. Tasted several beers/ciders. Highly recommend the Duval and the Red, White, and Blue(4th of July special, it's like a smoothie). Pretzel was bomb, ask for mustard and cheese! Also, ask for Annie's wings! Half buffalo half Cajun Mojo. Excellent combo with the perfect amount of heat. Thank you, Annie!!
