I just hosted an event for my sorority alum group (roughly 40 of us) and Sonoma was the perfect place for us. I have already gotten so many ladies saying they want to come back, because this is the best place we have been to. I gave them my headcount and budget and their team took care of cultivating a delicious menu for us. The servers, food, wine, and overall atmosphere was perfect for our group! Will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I visit Sonoma once or twice a week, and I’m honestly ashamed it has taken me this long to leave a review! Sonoma is, by far, our favorite place to visit. Not only are you supporting a wonderful small business and its incredible staff, but you’re also supporting other small business owners who own boutique vineyards and take the utmost pride in their craft. Every experience here feels thoughtful and genuine. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about wine and truly passionate about what they do. Their attention to detail and level of service never go unnoticed. You can tell this culture starts at the top — the owner’s passion and dedication shine through the entire team. We always leave feeling welcomed, appreciated, and excited to come back. Sonoma has become such a special place for us, and we can’t recommend it enough!

If you’re looking for one of the best wine bars and restaurants in the Garden Oaks area to hist your next event, Sonoma is an absolute gem. We had the best experience! From the moment you walk in, you can tell every detail has been thoughtfully curated; from the beautiful ambiance to the warm hospitality and the incredible wine selection. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is exceptional, and the impeccable taste shines through in every aspect of the restaurant. Highly recommend Sonoma to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Garden Oaks. Five stars without hesitation!

We visited Sonoma Wine Bar on a Saturday afternoon with a party of 12 adults. I had reached out to this location via their website to inquire about the ability to reserve a table for a larger party and they were extremely easy to work with. They called me and discussed some options to ensure our birthday gathering was exactly as we envisioned. We ultimately had a table on their back patio and all guests were able to order wine glasses, bottles, or flights as desired. Our server Seth was knowledgeable of the menu and friendly. All wines were great and we had a wonderful gathering. Highly recommend this place for mid-size gatherings and cannot gush enough about how easy they were to work with when other wine bars around Houston tend to want to limit party sizes.
