Honestly it wasn't a bad experience and the only thing I can say is I genuinely despise DOWNTOWN pricing when it comes to many things. I've been to this bar several times within a year period but first time writing a review. The cheapest drink is $13 tall cans of beer. No matter the brand $13 and I will opt to just keeping a tab if you are using a card as automatically there's a $25 hold (comes back quick but still). That is my only criticism. Like I've said visited many times 2025 to now. The staff is always professional, polite and friendly. Service is practically quick even during busy events and check in at a reasonable rate if time allows. It's very high end sports bar asthetic but given that it's literally outside the house of blues. You can understand. This adding to the reason of Downtown Pricing making even more sense. I would recommend this place to anyone for just a chill hangout or social.

We went to Toms before a Houston Rockets game. You have to arrive with plenty of time because it gets packed and it takes a while to get a table. Once you are seated food and drinks dont usually take long, but again if they are busy and you need something its hard to find your server. We ordered burgers with fries, and some beer and mixed drinks. Food and drinks were ok. They only issue again is the service if they are busy. We would give it another try anyway.

Burger was great. Drinks were strong. Lots of TV's to watch but, hard to hear. Had to ask to put the commentary on for the World Cup game but even then, could not hear much. I guess it really is a watch bar or that game was just not popular.

Food was good, service was good, environment is ok. Beer was good, but hard to mess that up. Staff seemed more interested in socializing than taking better care of the customers, but maybe that is their culture there. Prices were a little on the high side for everything being good not great. I wouldn't go back unless I really needed to watch a game that was on there.

Great bar, with plenty of TVs and seating. However, they’ve got a real management and staff issue with actually seating patrons. During the World Cup/NBA playoffs, they had a waitlist of 59 people ahead of us. But… most of the patio was EMPTY. They need to do a better job at running the waitlist (ie, first come, not your preference) and clearing tables. Not only is it frustrating for customers, but they are losing money unnecessarily. People walk away at a 59 person waitlist - with no time estimate at that. That’s a lot of lost cash and empty tables chocked up to poor management. And lots of unhappy customers. If you don’t have the staff on deck, close a section and just seat efficiently in the areas you can properly wait.
