Super great casual place to hang with friends, have drinks and eat. Amazing birria tacos. The boudin mac was out of this world. Bartender was super friendly and played excellent music. 10/10 would recommend.
Terrible experience here for the World Cup yesterday. We came in after the Mexico game to grab some food and drinks. Everything was fine until I received the tab after ordering and was shocked to see a $200 bill for a bucket of beer and 4 quesadillas. I looked at my receipt and noticed there was an added “Delivery Fee” along with an added gratuity AND space for additional tip. What even is a delivery fee at a bar? You’re making drinks. What are you delivering? Drinks across the counter? Drinks in a bucket? I understand adding tip to the check, but a “delivery fee”? Absolutely insane to me. There was also no one cleaning plates from the tables or cleaning down tables. I understand it was busy but if you’re going to be charging that much for the simplest thing at least do the bare minimum of cleaning the tables. I for one won’t be coming here again and will make sure not to recommend this place to anyone.
Great food cold drinks and an awesome atmosphere. The staff is always friendly the service is fast and the BBQ Mex menu is packed with flavor. One of my favorite spots in Houston to watch a game, relax, and enjoy a great meal. Highly recommend!
I’m going to have to give this restaurant a two star review. There was a nearby event going on so every food ticket had a 20% gratuity charge. I personally would have not minded if it didn’t take 40 minutes for our food to come out. My Pepsi was flat. The food was amazing. I left no crumbs. 2 stars lost for excessive gratuity charge that didn’t match quality of service, 1 star lost for flat soda. Food was FIRE.
I love coming Here when I visit Houston. Today I was lucky to get in before the dinner rush. I brought a co worker, service was wonderful- but the food was better! The brisket quesadillas…”when it touched my mouth I could taste the smoke, 5 fingers smackin”. That’s the official review from my buddy. We shared an order wings with the house sauce. Those were amazing. “The crunch on them jawns were something else” also official statement. I had a slice of homies bacon cheese burger. That was phenomenal. “I wish I didn’t share any of that burger”. Burger connoisseur review. I’ll be back. For sure. If you can stop by for a beer and bite before a game or after work please do. Shit is real good. 🤘🏽
