This Place is Awesome! Food was over the top. Prices reasonable. The pull pork and potatoe salad delicious but the BRISKET AND PECAN PIE… the best I ever tasted. The Brisket melt in your mouth. I’m from NYC there’s nothing like Texas BBQ. We went for breakfast and dinner.
Got in close to closing. The food tasted good, but was not as hit as I would expect. Portioning was a little small from some other BBQ places I have been to, bit with all that I added in sides and desert I filled up pretty quick. Sports in the TV all around d the searing area. Nice place to grab a meal.
OMG!!! The food was amazing. The brisket was so tender it just melt in your mouth. The sauce was so tasty. The baked potato was so huge that it could have been a meal in itself. The rolls were so fluffy and tasty. The atmosphere is fun. There could perhaps been more of a selection of sides but we did go late in the evening and so they may have been sold out. Just as we were leaving, they brought out cornbread which we would to have loved to try but we were so full that we could not eat another bite. We could not even finish our food. Would love to stop back here again when we are back in the area again.
Looks good smells good. Corn bread and rolls were great. Mashed potatoes and beans were really good. Pulled pork tasted like a stale smoke or burnt a bit. and no real flavor. Brisket was ok but gummy. Ribs couldn't even finish one. Sugar was like the sprinkled post smoke and was granular still and no real seasoning.
I order from Harris County Smokehouse quite often, as I love the food, and sometimes I order a kids’ meal either for myself or for my niece. Today, March 22, I placed an order for a kids’ meal online and came in to pay for it. The man behind the counter handed me my meal, and I informed him that I needed a cup since it comes with the meal. He then told me that I wouldn’t get one because I’m an adult. I reiterated that I had ordered a kids’ meal, which includes a kids’ drink. When he attempted to argue, I told him to either give me the cup or issue a refund. He finally gave me the cup, and I went on my way. I’ve never had an issue with anyone working there before, so I’m not sure why I wouldn’t be given an item that I paid for.
