Found this place on our last trip to Houston, very good brisket! One of the best I’ve had! Very tender and seasoned perfectly! They had 2 bbq sauces, they were both tasty The sides were ok, Mac and cheese wasn’t my favorite, the potato salad was good but it being a Mediterranean version was slightly different and the flavor profiles was new to me but still good. I didn’t get the 1 piece of white bread but o well, The service was great, everyone was extremely friendly, the portions were large and the restaurant was clean. Recommend you give them a shot

Tried Levant BBQ (@levantbbq) for the first time recently, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming with a great outdoor setup and super friendly staff that made the experience even better. We ordered the Habibi Feast, which is perfect for sharing and gives you a little bit of everything. It came with brisket, turkey, chicken, and sausage—and every protein was cooked to perfection. The brisket was tender with a beautiful smoke ring, the turkey was juicy, and the chicken had a great flavorful crust. For sides, we went with mac and cheese, creamed corn, potato salad, and fried okra. Honestly, all of them hit—especially the creamy mac and cheese and the fried okra, which had a perfect crunch. We also tried the brisket shawarma, and that was a standout. It’s a really cool fusion of Texas BBQ and Mediterranean flavors—smoky, saucy, and packed with flavor in every bite. Overall, this spot brings a unique twist to traditional BBQ with its Mediterranean influence. Great food, great service, and a solid atmosphere—definitely a place I’ll be coming back to. Highly recommend if you’re in Houston and want something different from your usual BBQ spot.

While visiting Houston, we wanted to find some great halal barbecue and came across Levant. There were three of us, and we each ordered a plate with a choice of one or two meats, two sides, and a few extras. We tried the turkey, brisket, and jalapeño sausage, and every one of them was delicious. The brisket was especially impressive, moist, incredibly tender, and so soft you didn’t even need a knife to cut it. The sides were very good, but the meats were definitely the highlight of the meal. One thing we really appreciated was the toppings bar, which included pickles, onions, pickled onions, jalapeños, and two different barbecue sauces so you could customize each bite. They even had a mini soft-serve ice cream machine for a little dessert after your meal, which was a nice touch. They also offer family meal options, making it a great choice for larger groups. The restaurant was clean, had plenty of seating, and the staff was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. If you’re looking for excellent halal barbecue in the Houston area, Levant is definitely worth a visit!

I was expecting hot and delicious meat and chicken but it was below expectations, meat is over spiced and COLD , to be fair the burger was good and I can visit the restaurant to have it again. The portions for the coleslaw and hummus was small for 4 family members.. STAFF was not nice and not welcoming.

Visited while on a trip for the 2026 World Cup. Just being halal in itself is already great! I was mesmerized by how everything was such a high quality and tasteful. The brisket was of course amazing but I’d say the beef ribs were even better. Will always visit them, and maybe come to Dallas/Houston especially for Levant BBQ. Big thank you to the owners, and people who make this place run!
