I totally oinked out and ordered a chopped beef sandwich, coleslaw, potato salad & peach cobbler. Delicious! I’m a big fan of cabbage, but the coleslaw here is not my favorite. The potato salad was amazing as well as the chopped beef sandwich. The peach cobbler went down real easy, but I have had better. I prefer their blueberry cobbler at The Heights location. The atmosphere here was perfect with tons of windows and natural lighting. Parking was easy and atmosphere was very comfortable for chowing down on barbecue. Upon entering the establishment, I was warmly greeted by the bartender and shortly thereafter, the manager to guide me on ordering. I certainly will be back when the barbecue craving hits again.

Dropped in for a taste of TX BBQ while here for a FIFA match. I had no idea that BBQ is on par with Football(Soccer) as a serious sport and definitely had no idea that I was meeting the Leo Messi of BBQ -Grant Pinkerton. It was nice meet the owner of a business who cares about the customer's experience, not only with the restaurant, but also how the product affects the customer. I made a rookie mistake and ordered way too much, but then it was a happy mistake. The glazed pork ribs were fall off the bone and tender, Brisket was juicy with perfect amount of smoke and enough pull. Unfortunately they ran out of beef ribs and chicken thigh, which was highly recommended among the other customers as we waited eagerly in line. Jalapeno cheese rice was such a pleasant surprise, almost like a cheese jalapeno risotto; It is a must try. Sweet potato is also a must try if you like sweet potatoes. Mac and cheese, Tangy Cole slaw, Texas beans would did not disappoint. I had no idea what a Boudin Link is, but where have this been all my life. It was a magical sausage filled with pork, rice, and spices. I have no other Boudin to compare it with, but wow, a must try for first timer. The sauces at the table were such a good enhancement, I almost wanted to risk my travel status and smuggled a couple bottles back in my pants. Thanks Grant for sharing the story of your passion, and remember, we have lots of Cattle in Alberta if you want to venture north! 🍖

Got a beef rib, brisket, and jalapeno sausage... All of which changed my life. Depth of flavor, texture, everything so ridiculously on point. Friendly, thoughtful service. Will be back 1000%

The highly acclaimed, Michelin-rated Pinkerton's BBQ just opened its second Houston location! Service and atmosphere: Very good service. All staff members were very welcoming, polite and friendly. They were also food knowledgeable and advised us on our food choices. The restaurant is big, well decorated and maintained. There is separate area for an open bar where you can order your favourite beverage. Food: They are known for their amazing BBQ, Pork, and links. Let’s not forget turkey. We ordered brisket, turkey and sausage. All meats were moist and well seasoned. The sausage casing wasn’t tough which we normally discover in other BBQ places. They have great selection of cold and warm sides. I highly recommend beef tallow fries, okra and tomato’s, as well as southern style beans. To say the least, everything was delicious. Pricing: $$$ - food for two came to $71. The meats are sold per LB and vary from $26-38. Links $6. Sandwiches cost $12-16.

I loved the way you order! The sides were so good, the creamed spinach was my favorite! I would like to try the beans, Mac n cheese and maybe the potato salad. The Tallow Fies were okay, the jalapeño and cheese rice was really good. I got the brisket, would definitely get again, but probably not the pork rib. I will go back I thought it was better than Truth BBQ.
