Yesterday was my first visit to this establishment. The employees were so welcoming and friendly. I ordered the market salad with turkey and a sliced brisket sandwich. I sampled the vegan sausage and I loved it so I plan to return to try it. The food was good but a little too pricey for me.
Originally, this place was not on our itinerary when we came to Texas. We just so happen to be hungry and The Pit Room was in the area. So we gave it a try. The food was so amazing, and flavorful. The portions were not scamp compared to other bbq spots I've been to. I selected the 3 meat combo. I also bought a chocolate chip cookie and blue bell Ice cream after my mean. I'm really glad we gave them a try because we would have missed out on something wonderful. Right place, Right time.
I had to try at least one BBQ spot when I was in Houston, and we found this place. I ordered the Two Meat Dinner, which you can choose 2 meats and 2 sides. I picked the venison sausage, pork ribs, jambalaya, and cole slaw. It was my first time trying venison, and I really enjoyed it. It's more like a lean, dense red meat with rich, earthy, and savory flavor. The pork ribs were delicious, juicy, and tender! I also loved their jambalaya rice, which came with sausage, ham, seafood, and vegetables. Highly recommended!
This is some of the best barbecue I’ve had in Houston. Robby the bartender took care of us and the experience was excellent. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure all of my needs were taken care of. The food was excellent. I ordered the two meat dinner with beef sausage and brisket. The sausage was moist and flavorful. The brisket was smoky and had just enough fat. I paired it with the jambalaya and mac and cheese as sides. I would definitely recommend coming here and if you do, go visit Robby at the bar.
First and Last! Wanted to try a new BBQ spot and decided on the Pit Room. The service was mediocre upon arrival . Food is way over priced for its quality Decided on a beef rib costing $50 mind you, The entire rib was nothing but fat and tasted nasty. Mac and cheese completely bland Would not recommended and will not be returning
