Brisket worth the trip, but no trip needed! Great meat on these brisket sandwiches, so I wish they sold just the meat since I’m low carbing life. Also love the Zapp’s Chips selection, though I would have chosen a canned Diet Coke if they had been available. Only Diet Coke was from the soda machine, which was fine, but I just love aluminum cans for recyclability and a modest serving size. Meet the bbq master who cooks the brisket over night, so you are getting fresh food here. Check it out!
We came over the summer to tour the school and check out the local scene. We found What It Do BBQ and we’re glad we did. We had the Ribs, the Candy Wings and the Brisket Sandwich. I couldn’t say what we liked best. The ribs were fall off the bone, the wings had just the right amount of kick and the brisket sandwich was just right, it was all delicious. My kid says she will be coming here on the regular when she starts school at UH and I will absolutely be coming back when we visit campus. Highly recommend.
The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. The only thing I didn't like was the very small parking lot. I understand that the business is located on the UH campus, but the parking isn't good at all. I would return to try some more of the food at the establishment.
Everything was so yummy! We had our order and was given samples of ribs and banana pudding. I advise everyone to experience this awesome flavor combination with perfected seasoning!
Always an amazing experience, and a true life savor for those looking for good food on the athletics end of UH! The loaded fries are my go to always ✨ and second to none!
