Gave me half a days notice. Got to the shop at 3:02. “Sorry we close at 3” Had to drive 2 hours through rain to get there Wonder why the sign for sale out front huh? Don’t waste your time waiting for them to give you a slot. Plenty of other competent mechanics around. Update : called lake Conroe marine after these guys told me that they close at 3 when I was parked out front at 3:03 pm and lake Conroe marine was very friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend suggest lake Conroe marine over these guys.

DO NOT COME THERE. this place does not keep their word. I brought my boat to them and only wanted one piston bored and replaced, they told me they can do that and give me a price later. when they gave me a price they told me I have to have a lot done to the motor, making it a whole engine rebuild. (which i told them i did not want) and charged me way more than I can afford. MAKE SURE you know there is a teardown And diagnose fee (i did know that). they will not tell you this unless you ask, they do not put it back together if you do not like their price. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE! their customer service is terrible as well.

Recently came to Texas for annual white bass run and had engine problems immediately. No one to look at it where we were so drove 4 hrs to Houston and called around then talked to this mechanic. He had me drop it off and diagnosed it promptly. He had parts in stock which was amazing and was able to get us going in a very timely manner. The motor runs better than it ever has, parts were very reasonable, labor was amazingly good and his customer service was exceptional. What a super friendly and honest place to do business with. I had some service issues and needed maintenance on my Evinrude G2. They got me into the shop in a reasonable time. Joe diagnosed my issues and in a couple of days had the hard-to-find parts on the way. I was given options and costs on all repairs before hand and work was done at the price and delivery time promised. I couldn't ask for a better experience.

Quick service, had the parts in stock. They were able to fix the corroded and dry rotted electrical wires and parts on my outboard. Boat had sat for over 20 years in a barn and my son was happy to get it back on the water!
