As a first-time boat buyer, I couldn't have asked for a better experience than the one I had at The Boatyard in Kemah, Texas. From the moment I walked in, they took the time to give me all the information I needed to make a smart, informed decision — no pressure, no rushing, just honest guidance every step of the way. What really set them apart was when they said call them at any point in time about absolutely anything and they meant it. They genuinely wanted to make sure I had a good experience, and they made it clear that if I ran into any issues or problems down the road, they would be there to help me see them through. For someone buying their first boat, (a Freedom Defender) that kind of support was very reassuring and I had to use it a few times, hahaha. You're not just getting a boat from these folks, you're getting a team that has your back long after the sale. I can't recommend The Boatyard highly enough.

Hate leaving negative reviews. Took my 20 hp Suzuki in for an ENGINE OIL CHANGE ONLY. Mark sent me a quote for an annual service I went in personally to tell them again all I wanted was an ENGINE OIL CHANGE ONLY! Did the service anyway. Cost a lot of money. Do your own service don’t treat yourself or you will get robbed.
