I love Gauchos so much ♥️! From our waiter, bartender, hostesses to Food options, salad bar - top notch. The service was outstanding with very attentive and friendly staff. My favorites are New York strip, Rib Eye, Filet Mignon, Pincanha and Octopus 🐙 and also moist shrimp. This location is the best in Katy. Trust me not Fogo for sure.

We had an outstanding experience tonight at Gauchos do Sul, and a huge part of that was the leadership and service. Manager Jimmy and our primary server Marcus delivered truly top-tier hospitality. Management was exceptional. Without their presence and attention, the service simply would not have reached the five-star level it did tonight. From the moment we were seated, everything felt seamless. Not once did we have to ask for anything before it was already taken care of or before someone checked in to see if we needed something. The teamwork stood out most. Even the second-hand service, Fernando and Felipe, were outstanding. Everyone was attentive, coordinated, and fully engaged. You never feel like you’re waiting for service to come back to you. Instead, the entire team works together effortlessly. My wife and I were personally greeted by management multiple times throughout the evening, and we saw the same level of care given to other tables throughout the service. This is what true five-star dining looks like: professional, proactive, and genuinely welcoming. We would confidently recommend this restaurant to both locals and visitors alike.

Fantastic Brazilian steakhouse delicious salad bar from Kandi bacon to smoked salmon, salami, cheeses, salads, lobster bisque the service was excellent very attentive server very accommodating. We’re able to ask what kind of meats we wanted the various cuts of meat especially the medium rare were delicious. Well seasoned definitely a awesome experience. Would highly recommend it. Look forward to coming back. Just note. This is not a cheap experience even if it’s one person I think it’s either 50 or $66 per person over the age of 15 or 16 so with that in mind you wanna make sure that you’re prepared to consume that amount or at least appreciate the amount that you’re gonna be spending would highly recommend. Look forward to coming back and the desserts are awesome too if you leave any room.

Overall: Beautiful food, but the overall service fell short of what you’d expect for a special occasion. My Experience: My husband and I visited Gauchos Do Sul on a Saturday night around 9 pm for our anniversary. The restaurant was busy, but we were able to find parking without valet. First Impression & Service: The initial greeting was not very welcoming, which set the tone for the evening. The hostess sat us without a word and clumsily laid out our flatware. The lack of interaction felt a bit impersonal, especially for a first visit. We sat for about 7 minutes without a waiter, but he was kind when he did arrive. Overall however, service was very inconsistent. There were long gaps between check-ins, we didn’t receive drink refills, and we had to rely on other staff members to assist with things like clearing plates or bringing new ones. We only received the complimentary rolls at the end of our meal. Food: The salad bar was well stocked with a good variety, and the meats were cooked to the right temperature and nicely seasoned. The sirloin is the best!! From a food standpoint, there were definitely more positives and very little negatives. My takeaway: For a Brazilian steakhouse where service flow and attentiveness are such a big part of the experience, it just didn’t feel as coordinated or polished as we expected or have experienced from other Brazilian steakhouse restaurants. The overall experience didn’t match what you’d hope for on a special night out. We did appreciate the manager coming over and listening to our concerns. He wants to run a nice establishment and that was clear after speaking with him. Good for: Those focused more on the food itself rather than the full dining experience. Would I come back? Perhaps, but I would hope for a more attentive and welcoming experience next time. One cool thing that happened was that a couple at the table behind us got engaged! 💍 😀

Enjoyed this place so much. The staff was amazing for my husband's company holiday party. It can be quick paced when they offer you the meats. But very delicious. Big salad bar . Delicious flan amd tres leches. One very attentive server her name was Saye I believe was so very helpful. Very enjoyable! Will return on another occasion .
