I had some time to kill as I waited for my car to charge at the nearby Shell EV charging station, so I popped into this restaurant to cool my heels (literary, as it was an oven hot 100F Houston day). I am so glad I did. The staff was very friendly and had me promptly seated and helped me with menu suggestions. I got water in the Klein Kanteen metal cup. Yes 👏 points for environmentally friendly drinking option. The light bulb shaped salt and pepper shaker made me smile. The fresh squeeze orange 🍊 juice helped revive my parched body. The Levant bowl - with grilled chicken, bulger wheat, farro, tomatoes, pickled onions, and a generous smear of labneh - was delicious and as healthy as I could have hoped for. The ambience at the restaurant was bright and lively without trying to hard as some other fashionable breakfast places. I definitely recommend this place and recommend you give it a try. (It certainly is a hidden gem. I was told later that this restaurant has been open for 70+ years. The patrons must have kept this a well kept secret for this place not to be more widely known in Houston. Hopefully this review can do its little part to change that.)

Come see Vivian shes the best! What an amazing restaurant, its run like a fine Swiss watch. The employees are so nice and professional. They are very generous with their proportions and the food is so fresh! The best part was how amazing the coffee is. What a great start to a mother's day!

Harry’s was a decent breakfast spot with excellent service. Our server was friendly and attentive, and the spicy chicken was crispy, flavorful, and the highlight of the meal. The biscuit was fresh and fluffy, but the gravy and sides needed more seasoning. I also was disappointed they don't serve sweet tea. Overall, the service was fantastic and the spicy chicken was delicious, but the rest of the meal was underwhelming. Not a bad experience, but probably not somewhere I'd go out of my way to revisit.

I was invited by a friend to try Harry’s Restaurant for breakfast so we could catch up on life, and this was my first time visiting. Overall, it was a really nice experience. I ordered the build your own omelette with tomatoes, cheese, peppers, grilled chicken, and spinach. It came out hot, well seasoned, and cooked just right. It was very satisfying, especially the grilled chicken which was very tender and juicy. On the side, I had a biscuit and cheesy grits. The biscuit was soft and absolutely moist, and the grits were creamy with a good amount of cheese. My friend ordered the spicy fried chicken plate with a biscuit and also tried the sausage gravy bowl. I had a taste, and everything was flavorful but the chicken really wasn’t that spicy at all. You can taste the spice, but it really didn’t give a kick. The orange juice was absolutely fresh, which I really appreciated, it definitely stood out. Add ice thank me later that’s just me. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the raspberry jelly, but that’s just personal preference since I’m more of a grape jelly person. Service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance stood out immediately. They have a beautiful patio if you’re into outdoor vibes, definitely a great spot for conversations , relax, and enjoy a slow morning with good company. Overall, I’d definitely come back. For a first timer, this is a great spot for a laid back meal with good food and even better vibes.

CJ was great server. He made some amazing breakfast recommendations. I tried the chilaquiles! It was a huge shareable portion and so so so good. Wonderful start to our day. We will be back!
