It’s open! I’ve walked past this place for so long. So glad it’s reopened. I hear it’s the original original owner and I can tell it’s going to be the perfect morning/lunch spot for my days downtown. Clean relaxing environment and I enjoyed my breakfast taco and shrimp and grits. Bottomless self serve coffee was a plus. Can’t wait to explore the many options on the menu. Congrats on opening back up!!!

We just enjoyed brunch at Toasters and it was delicious! My bananas foster was so good! Every bite had perfectly toasted pecans and carmelized bananas. My partner had chicken and waffles and really enjoyed it. They also have sandwiches, burgers, and other food choices. The grits were so good! The atmosphere is reminiscent of a jazz cafe and they even had a small stage with a microphone and speaker for musicians. The staff were kind and attentive. I would highly recommend Toasters to anyone who finds themselves in the downtown Houston area!

I ordered a BLT and added an over medium egg. It was one of THE BEST sandwiches I’ve ever had. I ordered for pick up, the food was fresh. The egg was cooked perfectly! The fries were seasoned sooo good !! 10/10 will definitely order this again

The owner is incredibly kind and helpful with ordering and making accommodations. We came for outdoor seating because we had our dogs with us while traveling but they had all their outdoor seating put away. He brought a table outside just for us and the service was great. Food was unreal. Best omelette Ive ever had and got the bananas foster on the side which was awesome. My friends both got chicken and waffles and they were great too. 10/10 recommend.

NY vibe without the NY prices. 2nd time here and the best gourmet juevos rancheros around!!! Come check it out!!!
