They did a great job they said 2 to 3 weeks job was completed in 12 days.They did what the said they would and for the price Quoted. We added counter tops and sinks in our bathrooms with no change order charges. They cleaned up after their self’s every evening and when completed. The finished job was night and day difference. They worked with us on ideas and listen to what we wanted to accomplish and blew it out of the water. Easy to work with them and very accommodating.

I would not recommend this company based on my experience. I found them through Thumbtack and scheduled an estimate with their project manager, Tom. During our consultation, I made it very clear that I had a strict 30-day timeline and asked whether they could realistically complete the work within that timeframe. Tom assured me that they could. As any homeowner would, I spent time discussing the project, asking questions, and planning the details. Later, when I spoke with Sarah, their scheduling coordinator, I was told that they weren’t even available for the next 2–3 weeks. Trying to make things work, I offered to scale back the project and move forward with just the cabinets, which Tom had previously told me would only take about three days to complete. With a full month available, I thought this would be reasonable. Unfortunately, communication quickly became frustrating. Tom stopped responding to my messages and left questions unanswered. Then, after all the time spent discussing the project and planning, I received a call from Sarah informing me that they couldn’t even start within my 30-day timeline. The most disappointing part is that this information could have been shared from the beginning. Had I been told upfront that they were unavailable, I would have respected that and simply continued my search elsewhere. Instead, I feel like my time was wasted and my expectations were set based on information that turned out not to be accurate. I understand that schedules change and contractors get busy. What I cannot understand is why a company would agree to a timeline they know they cannot meet and then leave a potential customer chasing answers. If communication, transparency, and respect for your time are important to you, my experience suggests you may want to look carefully before hiring this company.

Great company! Communication was always timely, which gave me a lot of peace of mind—especially since that can be a concern when working with contractors. They also used incremental payments, so I always felt comfortable knowing the work would continue as planned. The fireplace looks fantastic, and I’ve already received so many compliments. They were also able to create custom shelving and modify my cabinets exactly the way I wanted, which I really appreciated. Overall, a wonderful experience! Thank you Tom and SK construction
