This rustic, Lord of the Rings-themed restaurant is truly an experience! As a person who has been to New Zealand and visited Hobbiton, this place does a great job of capturing all of the nostalgia! Plus, they have an incredibly extensive menu with something for almost every diet type. They are also pretty famous for their mead which was delicious! We sampled a flight and our super helpful and friendly server made some spot-on suggestions. Overall we really enjoyed it experience and definitely plan to go back!

We had a long wait time to be seated. The hostess must have been having a rough day because she was not warm and inviting at all. Anna our waitress was great though, and so was our food! We ordered the dwarvin quesadilla on flour instead of corn(really good, but messy), a blue wizard lemonade(good, but a little tart), and the Morgoth burger(super huge, lots of meat, and so good, with the two of us we only ate half of it, so be prepared to be stuffed if you order it).

As big fans of The Lord of the Rings, we couldn’t pass through Houston without stopping at Hobbit Cafe. Ordered the MeatFest Flight to start and we enjoyed most of the beers. My husband couldn’t resist trying the famous Morgoth Burger - juicy, satisfying and impressively large. A to-go box was definitely needed for the leftovers. Wings were extra crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Great themed atmosphere, friendly service and food that made the visit absolutely worth it. Highly recommended.

This place is wonderful the outdoor patio is so beautiful and it’s neat inside but the food and the mead is absolutely amazing. Also definitely recommend Sherrie as your waitress, she’s adorable and very attentive. Can’t recommend this place enough. And best of all they allow your pups on the patio to enjoy everything with you, even bring them a dish of water.
