Been enjoying this place since the early 80's. Still great food, nice staff and the place hasn't changed a bit. Prices are still pretty decent as well and the food is worth the cost. Milk Shakes as as good as ever, and nice to find a place that will still make you a malt. This place is legendary in Houston, so stop by if you are in the neighborhood, I think you will like it.
No frills, old school burger spot with the best food around. The fries, burgers and cherry limeade’s were amazing. I had a craving for a turkey burger and they didn’t miss. It was great! I intended to take pics but ended up devouring everything before I realized. If you haven’t been here you should try it out!
Atmosphere and food is amazing! Pricing is OK but everything including cheese is an up charge. Food looks great, but when I got home and unpacked my burger, I asked for no pickles. There was one other person in the restaurant. Do you think you could pay $15 for a burger? You could at least get it right.
So this was actually day 2 here. 1st day I had got a malt... but couldn't taste malt at all. Today i got a vanilla malt... with extra malt. And still could barely taste the malt flavor. But ok... what ever. But then I opened my burger, and it had a Grey curly hair in it. I was on lunch, had no time to get it swapped. so I just dropped it off after I got off work. Basically I paid 16 bucks for a malt with no flavor. A small Dr. Pepper, and a few fries. I won't be back
Stop by this place for a classic burger with the traditional burger stand spot vibe. Food is excellent and group servicing you too.
