Craving a no-frills, satisfying burger in downtown Houston? Stack Burger, located at 703 St. Joseph Parkway, is a casual spot that has quickly become a local favorite for lunch . Don't let the simple setup fool you; this place delivers on flavor. The burgers, especially the Double Stack, are consistently described as "juicy," "amazing," and even "absolute killer" by patrons . The menu goes beyond basic fare with creative options like Korean Beef Bulgogi Fries and Vietnamese Iced Coffee, adding a unique twist to the classic American diner experience . Reviewers frequently praise the reasonable prices and friendly, speedy service, making it an ideal quick bite for downtown workers . With a high rating of 4.7 stars from over 300 reviews on services like Uber Eats, it's clear the quality holds up . While seating is primarily outdoors and some note it's a basic setup, the consensus is that the food is well worth it . For a delicious, no-nonsense burger that won't break the bank, Stack Burger is a destination in Houston's Midtown .

The owner refused to give me after clearly messing up my order, I asked for a plain dry fish sandwich and was not made correctly. Lady offered me a bun, when I explained that I don’t eat mustard and that it’s on the fish. She refused to remake my food or refund my order

Delicious burgers! Not very much dining space tho. The only negative opinion I have for this dive is the fact that you must pay to park, or stay inside vehicle to avoid parking fees.

Great tasting classic, fresh burger! The fries are seasoned perfectly. I’m usually really picky with my fries, and I really like their fries. Main worker at the walk up window was very friendly and patient since it was my first time here.

Stack Burger in Houston, Texas was an overall decent experience and a good quick stop if you are craving burgers while in the city. The restaurant is located right on a busy main street area, which gives it a cool local street-food vibe, but parking can be a little inconvenient since there is only street parking available nearby. Depending on the time of day, you may have to drive around for a few minutes to find a spot. One thing to know before visiting is that there is no indoor dining area. The restaurant is very small and everything is ordered through an outside walk-up window. It honestly feels more like one of those hidden local burger spots you randomly discover while driving through town. Even though the setup is simple, the atmosphere still had a nice local charm to it. The staff were very friendly and welcoming during the entire visit. They greeted us right away, answered questions without any attitude, and the service was pretty quick considering how small the place is. Customer service definitely helped make the experience better. For food, I ordered two burgers without fries or drinks. The burgers came out fresh and hot, and the portions were decent. Flavor-wise, the burgers were good and definitely enjoyable, The meat and toppings tasted fresh, but it was missing that “wow” factor that makes you immediately want another one. Even with that being said, the burgers were still tasty and satisfying enough that I would probably stop by again if I was in the area and wanted something quick. Overall, Stack Burger is a small local burger spot with friendly staff, simple ordering, and decent food. It may not completely live up to the hype for people searching for an unforgettable burger experience, but it is still a solid place to grab a quick meal. Between the location, the street-style setup, and the welcoming service, it has its own charm. I would personally give Stack Burger a 3 out of 5 stars overall. ⭐️⭐️⭐️
