Parking is a nightmare. You will go to sleep and still be thinking about all the twist and turn your car had to do. I suggest a small coop for easy work. Public transit or even an application such as uber or lift. If these do not sound like they are your cup of tea, try the public “PAID” parking across the back of the building. Be advised it is also not friendly to large vehicles as seen by the cushioned barriers around the concrete poles. Food was a 10/10, large portions, perfectly cooked beef, tasty condiments, huge selection. Shakes are SO RICH AND CREAMY. If you have health issues involving sugar and blood pressure-take it slow on drinking them. Free water is available for yourself and the little four legged friends. Services was straightforward with the cashier who is fluent in Spanish and English. A worker did come by as I was eating and asked “is everything good?” YESSSS plus taking out empty trays. Restrooms were HOT AND STEAMY. It is a single room so privacy is guaranteed buuut the door is a hazed glass so take that as you like. The only indoor seating is at the bar right next to the cashier. All other seating is outside. Many upon many fans are constantly running. Helpful but it doesn’t get rid of the insane humidity that Houston has. Perfect spot for watching a sport game with the homies. Nature is all around with the bushes and trees that surround the shop. Music was playing on the speaker system. I don’t know who was on AUX but I enjoyed it. It was a Sunday afternoon playing Michael Jackson. Does a Friday night play something more current for young folk? Might have to find out with another trip here.
11/15: We saw this place on a review ad online to be a pretty good spot to try. So we didn't and it turn out to be one of the best burgers in the area. Yes, the ingredients are fresh, the meat is flavorful, and the fries were on point. The atmosphere was great and the brought the food out quick. The price is firm would you get. I would definitely recommend this location if you want a good burger meal. Please Like ,Follow and Share for more #JayTrueRatings
I don’t want to say don’t go here because everyone has different flavor palettes. But I love burgers and everything about my food experience here was subpar. The staff was very friendly and the ambience was nice. In terms of food tho the fries were very very soggy and tasted like they were cooked in old grease and also burnt. The burger had little to no flavor. The strawberry milkshake was claimed to have a “fresh” taste, it in fact did not taste fresh. It tasted like Nesquick strawberry syrup. The queso on the fries was the only thing I liked. Also parking is super bad but that’s not really the restaurant’s fault that’s just a warning. I hope others who come here enjoy the food more than I did.
Hospitality was excellent. The cashier, Katerin, was especially sweet and welcoming. I have dined at this Montrose location many times, and the food is usually delicious, which is why this visit was disappointing. Unfortunately, my burger looked like it had been thrown together and was extremely greasy. The bun and lettuce were soggy and soaked with grease—definitely not appetizing. My fries were also served cold at first, but a young lady promptly replaced them with a fresh, hot order, which I appreciated. Considering how busy the restaurant was for the Fourth of July holiday, I think the kitchen may have been overwhelmed by the rush. Since this is not the quality I have come to expect from this location, I am only taking off one star for the soggy burger and hope my next visit is back to their usual standard.
First time at the Burger Joint was awesome💪🏻 our cashier Katerin was friendly and helpful, we ordered the Mexi and smash burger(fire) both burgers were cooked perfectly and delicious, also got sweet potato fries and hand cut fries both also delicious. Enjoyed a St Arnold’s root beer float that was perfect for the 4th🇺🇸 great spot highly recommend
