This was my first time at Wimpy’s and it left a good impression on me. The food was good, I ordered a bacon cheeseburger w/ onion rings, the onion rings were saltier than I would have liked but when I bit into that burger… perfection, the ingredients tasted fresh and the burger wasn’t super greasy. You could pick it up and all the ingredients weren’t slipping and sliding off the bun. When I was finished eating my work clothes were still spotless from how I arrived. The atmosphere is exactly what you would expect, a city burger joint. Everything was clean and the service was super quick even with a good handful of customers there. I would recommend this place to anyone who really craves a good burger. Lastly the price was reasonable for the size of the burger and meal ($20), I left feeling satisifed and will be coming back soon!

Extremely understaffed and poor quality food. Came here once in 2023 was bad. Decided to come again and still bad in 2025. Do not come here unless you want pricey food for bad taste. The meat is 5/10 and the bun is -10/10. Stay away.

I was roaming the streets in Houston just for the weekend. My kids and I were looking for a good place to eat but didn't know the area. Until I saw the corner of my eye, I spotted this place driving, and after looking at it, it seemed like an old-fashioned burger place. So we decided to try it and see what this place is all about. First off, it is kind of cramped inside, but it won't stop me because I understand it's only a downtown place. But man, there are so many options from, of course, burgers, chicken sandwiches, regular sandwiches, and chicken tenders. I've decided to get a Chili Cheese Burger while the kids wanted the chicken tenders. The timing for a busy place was not bad, pretty fast, I might say. The first bite I took and knew it was just that old fashioned burger feel when you look at this place from the old side. And the chicken tenders are not your normal fast food place. Mostly all chicken and not filled with bread trying to make it look bigger. And on top of everything, FINALLY a place that serves hot sauce/ spicy ketchup. But yet, that's just a personal preference for me. Overall if I go back to Houston I'll be one of those people saying before I drive back home I need to stop at Wimpy's or better yet the first thing I do when I get there is to go to Wimpy's. To the owner of this place, keep it up. I will be back again

Nothing was wrong I ordered swiss mushroom chicken and fries , as requested and taste fresh very welcoming atmosphere .

One of the best burger places in Houston. Great service, even better food. All fresh and quick service. Good prices and I plan on being back soon.
