This place was a nice place to hang out, date, or study. I got really nice chill vibes here. There’s a bar inside, loft area for more seating, area in the back with some tables, tables outside, cubicles, and more tables spread out. They had so many drinks to choose from and some food. I liked the variety of things they had to offer and I think I even saw a window for people sitting outside to order at. I only tried a couple of drinks. The first one I tried was the matcha average mule and I guess if you like Moscow mules you would enjoy this. I didn’t really find the matcha flavor strong or there at all. It had a lot of the lime flavor more than anything else. The other drink I tried was the pretty in pina which is basically a pina colada. That drink was my favorite amongst the two. It tasted like your classic pina colada.

Its a cool spot. Nice chill atmosphere. I'd recommend coming early if you want a table. However, please know, the service you get fluctuates.....Sometimes it's good and sometimes its not. Now, this receipt early says "Extra Syrup" because thats what I asked for when I ordered. My order first came out with no syrup at all....no big deal...maybe just an honest mistake. So, I inquired about the syrup, the young lady brought ONE. I said, "It's supposed to be an extra one." She replies, "He didn't charge you for it." I respond and say, "It literally says it on the receipt" (pointing to the receipt in HER HAND) She says, "But he just put it in. He didnt charge you for it." Like, you can't be serious. I asked for it at the time I placed the order....he added it to the receipt....I paid what he told me the total was. It was the small single serve syrup.....its not like I was asking for extra food.

Really nice atmosphere, warm decor, cozy environment. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Cute courtyard and lots of sitting inside, including the 2nd level booths, perfect for meetings just as much as it is for someone to submerge into a focused work zone.

​I love coming to Brass Tacks! The service is always fantastic, and the atmosphere is perfect for getting work done while jamming to the music. The coffee is fantastic, and the food and small plates are really good. This is probably my number one spot in Houston like this to do work outside the office. Only downside if such a thing is this place is super popular so timing is everything!

Great environment, tasty food and drinks, variety of items to pick from, big area, so many good study spots for quiet or social studying! Perfect place for good studying!! Many outlets and good WiFi! Love this place
