My son’s favorite fish is fried catfish, so believe me, I’ve been to a lot of places that serve catfish. This was hands down the best catfish I’ve ever had. Perfectly seasoned, fresh clean flavor and piping hot. Everyone was friendly, very welcoming and even offered a little sample to entice us to try the turkey neck, which was amazing! We did try a bit of everything and the crawfish etouffée was definitely something I’d order again. I would definitely come back!

Omg my experience was not good… so first off I have been wanting to try this place for a few months now somebody told me don’t waste my time…It’s not all that… yesterday somebody told me (I liked it you should check it out)… so me and my sister went. The owner took our order and he mentioned that it was his birthday so we both left a $10 tip and we hadn’t even tried the food yet. He offered us a margarita on the house, gave us a sample of a turkey neck, mac & cheese, and butter beans, which was very much appreciated. We ordered the lamb chop ramen ($40)… when my food came out automatically I knew my ramen was not cooked fully how I like. I proceeded to try the lamb chop and cannot bite through it. I did ask for medium well which I always order anywhere that I go and never had an issue with bitting through it. It was too tough. So not to be rude, but I had to send it back and ask for my lamb chops to be cooked more. I proceeded to ask the owner if he would ask them to also cook my noodles a little longer and this when it begin. As a owner, I feel like he should have just tried to comply with my ask… he gave me a speech about noodles, even pulled out a pack of Ramen, talking about what type of Ramen he use, that people in Houston don’t know nothing about these type of noodles, which I have already had these noodles before…he proceeded to say that he like his noodles a little harder… OK everybody don’t like hard noodles… proceeded to say that he has never had anyone to complain about his food…it was a whole thing he just kept going and going, and it was really pissing me off, and I was ready to go. So I guess if anybody goes to this place, you have to take their food as it is with no complaints, like it or not. Are you might get what I got… a lecture. By the time I got my food. My sister had already picked up her food and was ready to go so I didn’t even get to eat. Which at that point I didn’t even want it anyway. I found this place on Google by accident and ended up having a full-blown food testimony. We ordered lamb chops with pasta, wings with fries, and 2 fish with 5 shrimp — and I’m still thinking about it like it was a situationship I can’t let go of. The lamb chops were so good they made me want to call people and tell them to pull up immediately. The fish was crispy, flavorful, and cooked like they had something to prove. And the pasta? Oh, she was rich, saucy, and unforgettable. Now when I dipped the fries in that pasta sauce? Listen. That was not a side quest. That was the mission. The crazy part is the place was empty when we walked in, and I refuse to believe that has anything to do with the food, because the food is elite. This spot is outcooking a whole lot of famous places that have better marketing and less flavor. They even gave us a complimentary drink, which just felt like confirmation that we were exactly where we needed to be. Please go support this business before everybody else catches on and starts acting like they been knew. Get the lamb chops. Get the fish. Respect your taste buds.

Me and my family dine-in and the hospitality was great. The food was excellent and on point we ordered all types of stuff and was never disappointed not once . We also and had a complementary margarita which was fantastic. We left with happy stomachs. The food was oh my gosh, good

First of all, them ladies taking orders are the sweetest, most welcoming people I’ve seen since I moved to Houston 8 months ago. I love uh good service. The service was fast & friendly, I enjoyed the music that was playing also, but the FOOD!!!! This my first time having a “turkey neck boil”. Where I come from turkey neck went in our okra soup and collard greens. Never had it this way. I love it. I couldn’t stop eating even when I knew I was supposed to. Not y’all causing me to commit gluttony. lol. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to try other items on the menu! See pictures & videos.
