As a Louisiana native, I approve this restaurant. Authentic and not commercialized or what they THINK cajun/Louisiana is. I haven't had the seafood yet, but will update once I do.

We've been coming here since 2014 and it's always perfect. We had the Hush Puppies, Boudin Balls, Stuffed Salmon New Orleans(the sauce is addictive) and our kid had the Kids Chicken Pasta in Lafeyette Sauce. The owner always greeted us with a smile. He and his staff are always great. The restaurant is always extremely clean. Over the course of 12yrs coming- we've never had a bad dish nor a bad experience. ** There was an update to the road outside the restaurant. To get into the parking- easiest is either coming up from 59 on Wilcrest, South towards 59 from Belfort or South on Wilcrest and turning left(east) onto Belfort. The median that was added makes turning from north on Belfort non existent now.

I love this place. Anytime I get a chance while traveling from Michigan through this area, I'm disappointed in myself if I don't make time to stop at Lafayette Cajun! The food is amazing! The service and hospitality gives me family vibes! Love it! I recommend the grilled Red fish Opelousas, topped with shrimp and crawfish in a roasted garlic cream sauce. Delicious 👌

This family-owned small business has been serving our family and the local community for what feels like generations. We have been coming her for over 20 years, on and off, even as my family moved to another county. The recipes taste just as good today as they did back then. Daily specials are a treat. The owner still serves his customers like he didn’t miss a step over the years. His kids also are servers and help run the shop. If you visit, take a seat and peruse the menu and feel like it’s a home cooked meal served by the family who haven’t changed their recipe for delicious Cajun seafood dishes. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch the place during one of the live band events. They love a good fiesta 🪅
