Had this place on my itinerary when I came for the Cardi B concert and omg, I was not disappointed! I had to order more to take back to Mississippi honey! Everybody was friendly and the service was FAST! And the food was phenomenal! Glad I decided to try them out! Loved the fish and grits! Loved the beignets too! Better than cafe du monde in New Orleans in my opinion! I will be back my next time in Houston!
Food: We’ll you straight to the point this is the reason why you’re reading this review is because you wanna know how the food is and I have to say that the food here was great and here they make the food when you order so it’s not something that’s given to you within five minutes or you probably might have to wait 1520 minutes because they actually make sure the food is hot when you receive it. I had the snapper Cajun pasta with shrimp and it was fire. Take a look at the pictures very seasoned very well and tasty. Food look great and also tasted very good. Atmosphere: atmosphere is OK it’s kinda like your whole in a wall spot in Houston that’s there for good food. I ate there and it was pretty tight inside. You can check out the video that I posted but other than that, don’t expect, high-end restaurant you can expect great food though. Service: Service was really great there. The ladies took care of me. They came out delivered my food with a smile made sure I was good. Asked me if I needed anything and they got it for me..
I had the shrimp poor boy which was amazing. I watched the lady in the back making up the Cajun sauce which was perfect. The fries were properly crisp and seasoned and I brought home beignet which exceeded my expectations. if you like collard greens these were awesome.
Very tiny spot inside of Binz building .. however , very GREAT FOOD ! Ordered half & half catfish poboy w/tater tots & beignets . Food was hot & nice portioned sizes. Cashier was friendly . Other staff was a little bratty when it came to correction of an order of missing items or “packets of mayo” . If I can assume the owner herself a black younger looking woman goes above and beyond she cleans the place, takes orders and caters to her customers. Wait time was a little over 45 minutes but overall GREAT . I came back into my office to inform my co workers . Will be here again !
We are from a small Nevada town here in Houston for a convention. I absolutely love Cajun food. This place was SPOT ON. Food is delicious, service was above and beyond and the atmosphere was great. Tyra helped us and she was the best. Loved every aspect. 10/10
